Prison Architect - Going Green
 –

Decent addition

Feels more like a mod than a DLC, but a decent addition if you enjoy the game.

Prison Architect - Island Bound
 –

Islands

Feels small for a DLC, but a decent addition if you enjoy the game.

Prison Architect - Psych Ward: Warden's Edition

Total War™: WARHAMMER® III
 –

More Warhammer!

Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy the earlier games.

Stellaris: Humanoids Species Pack
 –

Cosmetic

I would say its worth it just for the ships. Especially if it's on sale.

Stellaris: Ancient Relics Story Pack
 –

Nice

A great purchase if you like stories. Relics are a strong in-game bonus, but the short stories sold me.

Stellaris: Leviathans Story Pack
 –

Spicy

Adds all sorts of flavour to the game. Perhaps grab it off a sale!

Stellaris: Distant Stars Story Pack
 –

Optional

Adds nice little things and mediocre large things. Very optional.

Stellaris: Synthetic Dawn Story Pack
 –

I, Robot

I recommend this DLC if you are interested in robots. Also adds some other stuff, most notably an end game crisis.

Hearts of Iron IV: Battle for the Bosporus
 –

Situational

I would only recommend purchasing this if you are interested in playing Bulgaria, Greece or Turkey.

Total War™: WARHAMMER® II
 –

Fun for days

The best and the most important part of the game is the combat. Everything else is secondary and not as polished. It has a very story rich world with amazing graphics.

Stellaris: Federations
 –

It's good

The galactic community feature really makes mid game more interesting, and the origins feature adds even more replayability.

Stellaris: MegaCorp
 –

Situational

A good purchase if you are into trading, not a must have DLC.

Stellaris: Apocalypse
 –

Thin on content

Adds multiple combat oriented features. Recommend buying it when it's on sale.

Stellaris: Utopia
 –

Adds depth

Adds depth to some features, such as governments and structures. I consider this and Federations the more important DLCs for Stellaris.

Hearts of Iron IV: La Résistance
 –

It's alright

The spy system is very micro heavy and unbalanced, but adds complexity. The new focus trees for Spain and France are interesting.

Hearts of Iron IV: Waking the Tiger
 –

A solid purchase

Probably the best addition you can buy, especially if you are interested in playing as China or Japan. Also adds a Chain of Command system, which overhauls some of the military organization.

Hearts of Iron IV
 –

Paradox does it again

The third Paradox game I have played so far, and the third one I have enjoyed thoroughly. Even if you get bored with the base game, there is a very active modding community. I recommend checking out "The Road to 56".

Hearts of Iron IV: Death or Dishonor
 –

Decent

I recommend getting this if you like playing as the East European middle powers - Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Romania and Yugoslavia. There are some equipment related features in this aswell.
