BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea - Episode 1

Great Return to Rapture

This was a great return to rapture. It was nice seeing the city again with updated visuals. THis is a short game, but fun and really well done.

BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea - Episode 2
 –

Excellent Ending

This both ends the Infinite saga but also nicely wraps it into the original bioshock. It was very well done and very interesting to see how they did. Quite a blast

Hong Kong GTA

This is a very fun game. It has some elements of GTA though this time you're on the side of the law. I enjoyed it and had fun. Lots to do and see.

Sid Meier's Civilization V: The Complete Edition

Can't Complain

If you like any Civ you'll like this game. The graphics have been massively updated and the gameplay is just as solid and fun. I think it is an improvment over Civ 4

Warning - Won't Work

Got the game on sale for $2.50. Sounded interested and really interested to see what it was like. However, the game won't load properly. The main menu is frozen. You can press the different menu options (options, saves, new game, etc) but to see it change, you literally have to tab out of the game and back. The audio keeps going in and out as well. I am running a 2012 MacBook Pro with 16 GB of RAM, 2.66GHZ quad core i7 CPU and 1.5GB of vram and the game acts this way. Very frustrating and disappointing.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Resurgence Pack
 –

Resurgence Pack

Much like the stimulis pack, the maps in the resurgence pack aren't anything special. The real advantage this has is that you won't be kicked out of servers for not having the maps anymore. My advice would be to buy only on sale. But not at $14.99

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Package
 –

Eh

The Stimulus package is ok. A couple maps here and there but they aren't nearly as good as the ones in MW2 originally. The real advantage this has is that you don't get kicked out of servers if you don't have the maps anymore.

Call of Duty: Black Ops

Good Solid COD

COD: BLOPS is a decent COD game. It is fun, fast paced, and full of exciting set peices. The story is also well done and highly entertaining. My only complaint with it is that they need to figure out the helicopter controls. That part is very frustrating.

QUAKE 4
 –

A Classic

Quake 4 is a classic. The game isn't quite like modern shooters but it isn't also like old school games. However, it is solid fun. I haven't spent much time with the multiplayer, in fact I'm not even sure if they're is anyone on it. But this game is well worth the price. I have fond memories of playing when it first came out and I was not disappointed when I bought it and played it recently.

The Darkness II
 –

Decent Game

The Darkness II is a decent game. The graphics aren't great and the story falls apart. It starts out really interesting and thought provoking but then just turns into run of the mill revenge and mythology and supernatural. It decides to pursue the main characters inability to get over his dead girlfriend than deal with the implications that the Darkness has. The gameplay is fun; however, the controls can be a little frustrating at times. I didn't touch the multiplayer so I don't really know how that is. It's a fun game, but nothing great. Also I beat the campaign in less than 4 hours...

Max Payne 3
 –

Amazing

I love this game. it's so good. The story, the characters, the dialog, the gameplay, the graphics. The whole game is great. I had no issues running the game on my 2012 MacBook Pro. Definitely one of Rockstars best games.

Max Payne 3: Rockstar Pass
 –

Fine

The DLC for Max Payne 3 is really whatever. It only adds multiplayer components with no additional single player campaign content. I wasn't interested in the multiplayer so this didn't do much for me.

Max Payne 3: Complete Pack
 –

Good

This is the best deal if you want to buy Max Payne 3 and all DLC. It groups them all together and allows for one easy purchase. Definitely recommend.

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Deluxe Edition
 –

So-So Follow Up

First, the game is still a good solid AC title. However, there are some things this one is lacking. The games story is nowhere near as intriguing as AC2 or even AC:Revelations that comes after. It is rather cliched and predictable. Events aren't as tightly finished off nor is everyone's story arc completed. Gameplay is fun and they have added new agents and revamped the combat system which makes for a much more aggressive and fluid style of play. My one gripe is that pretty much the entir game takes place in Rome. Granted the map is large, but it is only one setting unlike the numberous in AC2. Multiplayer is a welcomed addition but not necessary especially considering it plays nothing like the single player.

The game is fun, and enjoyable, it just lacks some of the elements that make it stand with the best, especailly in the story department. It is nowhere near as good as AC2, AC:R and AC Rogue

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
 –

Fantastic

This is the COD that redefined the entire genre. The story is fabulous and the gameplay is great. Beware, some missions are a bit dated. But the gameplay is still fast and furious. Also, one mission still makes my jaw drop 9 years later. One of the most intense missions ever with a real jaw dropper at the end. I highly recommend.

Assassin's Creed 2 Deluxe Edition
 –

AC At Its Finest

First, for anyone new to the game, graphics will feel a bit dated and combat will feel a bit slow. However, story is fantasitc and the environment is rich with detail and beautifully realized and accurate. There are numerous side quests and the main quest line is deep and gripping. Gameplay itself is fun and solid. Combat and free running feel a bit slow compared to new AC games, but once you get used to the pace again, the game is just as fun as ever.N

The Best COD

This is by far the best COD game. It runs great on the Mac - super smooth. And multiplayer is fantastic since you get to play with the windows crowd as well. I've had this game on my PS3 since 2009. Recently decided to get it on the Mac. Thats how much I love it!
