Cities: Skylines - Campus
 –

It's term time!

Greatly expands and improves on the in game education system. Ever wanted to turn your city in to one of those much muttered about university cities? Well dear reader you are in luck because with this DLC now you can!
It comes with a plethora of new assets to create your dream campus and as usual they look great and adds a bunch of improvement to how the in game education system works.
It's a definite "late game" addition to your city and brings with it a bunch more micromanagement that has the potential to become a little overwhelming, particularly if combine with the Industries and Parklife DLCs, but still totally worth it for me.

Cities: Skylines - Industries
 –

The Factories Must Grow!

This DLC acts as a much needed replacement and improvement to the specialized industrial zones that feature in the base game, so much so that it's nearly mandatory to have this DLC as it improves those thing so much. The mechanics are clearer and more in depth mechanics than in vanilla allowing for so many things that were never possible before. As usual the art designers did a great job with the new assets.

Cities: Skylines - Sunset Harbor

It's good but...

It's a decent DLC which adds a bunch of new content to provide a bit more "life" to your cities but overall it feels more like a bunch of things that probably should have been in other themed DLCs plus a bunch of much needed back end work.
The new waste and water features are good with some nice new additional buildings and systems. The fishing industry stuff is also not bad but feels a little lacklustre and not fully realised. New improvement to the transport systems are always welcome. Overall decent, but I'd only recommend it on sale.

Cities: Skylines - Airports
 –

Fly, fly away!

You can build really big and fancy Airports now with this DLC, that about sums it up. Another DLC that's more of an "end game" addition, as you won't find much need for ridiculously over the top and detailed airports until then, but a nice addition none the less. Decent, but I'd only recommend on sale.

Cities: Skylines - Green Cities

Solid addition

Tired of all the high pollution in your city? Want to help your poor cims breathe better quality air? Then this is the DLC for you, adding a full suite of eco friendly options to your city. Green residential specialization, recycling, local produce commercial specialization, better water management via new sewage and water treatment options, biofuel buses and more! Your dream of a green city starts here.

Zombie Solitaire
 –

Fun little time waste

This is a decent enough high/low solitaire game with a zombie aesthetic, one of those simple games that you dip in and out of every now and then for a little mindless fun.

Stellaris: Nemesis
 –

Become the Crisis

Overall a decent DLC to get on sale, the additional features are nice although the espionage system could use a little more work to really meet its potential. Becoming the crisis is an entertaining change of pace, fixing to destroy the galaxy completely leading to an all out war against you can lead to some really intense games. The new galactic Emperor/ Custodian powers can also lead to some fun games and interesting RP opportunities.

Stellaris: Federations
 –

Needed Diplomacy Rework

These really big DLC's are always a weird one to review as they usually come with massive base game changes and this DLC was no different. The game received a much needed rework to the Diplomacy system at the same time as this DLC was launched, this expansion really just extends the number of things you can do with the new systems the added in the base update.
So you get more diplomacy and federation options, extra origins as well as some love for your mighty war machine in the juggernaut and mega shipyard.
Overall a good DLC and certainly worth picking up if you find it on a discount!

Stellaris: Necroids Species Pack
 –

Nice but not essential addition

Just like all these small species or story pack DLC's they are a nice addition but not really essential. A good pickup on sale just for some extra things to play with.

Cities: Skylines - Natural Disasters
 –

Injects more than a little chaos

Along with the titular disasters you also get a response system to doomsday prep your city and one of the better additions, helicopters that allow your emergencies services to circumvent your inevitable traffic congestion.

The disasters are implemented well and you get the choice of allowing them to occur randomly, starting one yourself if you are feeling vindictive, or you can disable them altogether if you don't fancy all your hard work being wiped out in one fell swoop.

Overall a fun but not essential DLC.

Cities: Skylines - Relaxation Station

Nice tunes

A decent enough selection of tunes to listen to whilst trying to wrestle with the inevitable traffic problems!
