Star Wars The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition

Good combat

Combat was great. Would have liked it if there was any degree of roleplaying component.

King's Bounty: The Legend

Great game; doesn't run well on mac

I played this game on PC and it ran fantastically without any of the crashing or invisible units or funky spaced text—so all those issues are mac exclusive. The game itself is a lot of fun though, so it's worth getting on sale to see if it works on your computer. (Through my troubleshooting, it seems to have a better chance on iMacs than on Macbooks.)
There're a lot of fun tactical things to do (chest of rage ftw!), and many different kinds of units to work with (ancient bears are a personal favourite of mine).
This is a great game, and it's a shame that it wasn't ported well to mac.

Sid Meier's Civilization V: The Complete Edition
 –

What can I say?

I got this game for 10 bucks, and I've gotten hundreds of hours of gameplay out of it. I'd been playing civ 4 way past it's prime, and it was really refreshing to jump to the "newer" version. With all the DLC, Civ pretty much never gets boring. Grab it while it's on sale; it's a great deal.

Star Wars Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy

This game is great!!

It's definately dated, but it's still a lot of fun. The combat can be frustrating at times, since the controls are bulky (and the autosaves are sparse, so when you die it's pretty terrible), but my desire to play through the story won over all the frustration.

The Sims 2 Super Collection
 –

Nostalgia Overdrive

I get so many flashbacks playing this game, and it's great!! If you've played Sims 3 or 4 but not 2, it's probably gonna be too dated to enjoy, but as someone who's played since the beginning, it's a great dose of nostalgia. It was also exciting to play University, since that was the one expansion I never had back in the day. It's disappointing, however, that this pack doesn't include (and never will, acording to Aspyr) Freetime or Apartment life, which included a lot of fundemental game improvements (like ceilings) that the game feels lacking without.

Fantastic!

While the games are all a bit dated, the sale price was really good and I'm having a lot of fun.

The Movies: Superstar Edition
 –

So much fun!

I played The Movies on my pc, so the Stunts and Effects pack added a lot of new and refreshing fun.
I did have a crashing issue where the game would crash after playing for a few minutes, but the problem went away when I updated to OSX Sierra.
