The Sims 3: Late Night Expansion Pack
 –

Probably Best For Price

It has its pros and cons but out of all the packs that they've released for the Sims 3 this is without doubt the best bang for your buck. Full price and it is still cheaper than other expansions.

The Sims 3
 –

The peak of Sims.

Sims 2 was amazing and the Sims 3 not only added to it but creating something entirely better. Unfortunatly I don't think we'll ever get that with the Sims 4 and probably ever again since the developer continually gets worse. If you want the PEAK of Sims. It's the Sims 3.

Europa Universalis IV: Rights of Man
 –

Must have... on a sale.

This is certainly a must have DLC however I still only give it 4/5 because it is over priced and Paradox loves to spam DLCs.

Europa Universalis IV: The Cossacks
 –

Great DLC - Terrible Price.

I will never understand why Paradox makes you spend well over $100 to gain all the features of a game but yet here I am buying them. Only buy this on sale, but it does add some great features for peacetime.

Stellaris: Utopia
 –

Worth it.

I held out for a long time on this DLC but it is worth it in the end. I still say it should be bought on sale, just like any DLC but it adds a lot for mid-late game play and makes building tall a lot more achieveable.

Hearts of Iron IV
 –

Good

If you're used to EU4 then this is the same basic style of game. The map is beautiful but it is a big learning curve. I wish it offered more however keep in mind, unlike EU4 which spans hundreds of years, this game only last 5. It's very focued.

Europa Universalis IV: El Dorado
 –

Must have.

I wish i had bought this DLC earlier. It is expensive for what it is but still a great addon to the game. The nation designer is a whole new level of game play. If you've played a lot of the base nations, start building your own. It makes it truely live up to endless gameplay.

Cities: Skylines - Mass Transit
 –

Pretty good.

As usual with DLCs, it is over priced for what it is. However, the content is certainly useful and adds to the game well. Buy when its on sale.

Not Bad

Simply an upgraded version of the mobile game, it is certainly a classic and fun arcade style of game.

Tropico 5

Fun!

I'll admit I don't play this game as much as it deserves but it is certainly a fun game when I do play it. Theres always something to do with your world. Its a playful mix of city and empire building. Reminds me of Caeser IV.

Europa Universalis IV: Conquest Collection
 –

A blast.

The best game in it's class in my opinion. Although the base game is a little raw, once you invest in all the DLCs its actually a very complex and fun game to play. Of course DLCs in my opinion are just another way to pull extra over priced cash out of gamers pockets, the fact still stands that when this game is fully suited, its very replayable and long lasting game!

Cities: Skylines

The Good & Bad

Giving the good first, this game is everything SimCity wasn't. Not the old classic SimCity but the newer attempt at it. This game has an amazing Steam community and a constantly growing DLC market for official and community releases. I can't express how much fun I have with this game. It never gets old, and is ENDLESSLY replayable.
The bad however ruined it for me... for now. I have a mid-2012 MacBook Pro and although I understand the age factor and the fact that I own a laptop (a fully suited up one though) this game still drags in performance, consumes all of my computers resources, and runs a very spotty fps.
But on a more dedicated machine, this game is one of the best you can buy.

Cities: Skylines - After Dark

Great Addition

This addition to the base game adds extremely important missing peices and I highly recommend it's purchase if you bought the original game.

Europa Universalis IV: Common Sense
 –

Good Addon

I'm not a fan of DLCs as they are generally rip offs but this one adds some pretty important things to the base game if you like the compllexities of running an empire.

Stellaris
 –

Conflicted

I love this game. Honestly. It has an amazing story, great DLCs from both the community and the dev. but for some reason I don't play it anymore. I had a blast playing it when I did, and I still refuse to delete the game from my Mac, but for some unknown reason, I just don't play it anymore. I gravitate to other games instead.
Don't take me wrong, I highly recommend this purchase. Its an amazing game. But these are still the factual results of my purchasing exprerience.

RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Platinum
 –

Classic

It's one of my favorite classic games, crashes every once in a while but stable for the most part. Just make sure you save your game or have autosave.

The Sims 2 Super Collection

Amazing.

Runs like a champ! Loading screens are super fast on my mid-2012 Macbook and all graphics are maxed.
