Too many bugs!

At first it was good fun, but the game is too buggy. I don't know if it's because it's the Mac version (playing on a Mini), but the game becomes very frustrating after a few levels. You complete a quest, but don't get credit for it. Or you get killed and end up on a level that has no exit. Then you find that the quests you get next are for the level you just cleared out-too late. Or you get killed and quit (which should work, according to the manual), only to find that the game crashes when you try to reload.
Incidentally, Wild Tangent said they couldn't help me at all with my issues because they weren't responsible for the Mac version.
It's really too bad, because it could be a lot of fun if I weren't grinding my teeth in frustration. I want my experience and fame, darnit!
There are cheats, of course, but it's not the same somehow.

Not Just Gameplay

The game is diverting enough, but better yet is the option that allows you to create and edit your own levels, designing quests, placing monsters, treasure, etc. This can become an obsessive undertaking if you're not careful! The level editor online instruction are a bit confusing, but the support from Rake In Grass is very good, and you can figure most things out by examining the sample levels included in the game. Great fun!
