Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
 –

A Fine Follow-Up!

The level of graphical improvement does makeup for the slight shortfalls in the story. Featuring some fine twists and at least TRYING to keep explosions to a minimum, this game did a very good job of maintaining the magic of the Modern Warfare universe. I say buy it!

Mount & Blade: Warband - Napoleonic Wars
 –

Unabashedly Fun!

As I calmly sip my tea, I look back on the memories I had as a young lad, blasting bad muthas in the face, leading hundreds of riflemen to victory and/or death. The river crossings, the cavalry charges, the blood... all it good jest, Mr. Welsley!

Seriously though, buy the game.

The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director's Cut
 –

A good game aged badly.

I'm sure Witcher 1 was plenty popular and well regarded when it was first released, but the supposedly ENHANCED director's cut has done a very bad job adapting the controls to a more advanced gaming age.

Try it out if you want, but this game is dated. Not much innovation or excitement like the old Zelda games or Shadow of the Colossus.

Cornerstone: The Song of Tyrim
 –

Good, but frankly... boring.

Maybe it's just me. Admittedly, my expectations for this game were way, WAAAYY too high for what it is. Indie games are not always the best games, nor should they expect that much of themselves. For a guy expecting a game like Zelda: Windwaker, of course I would be disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the game is good, but... it can do a very bad job of holding your attention.

Total War™: ROME II: Emperor Edition
 –

Good for an audience...

If you're looking for a pure, somewhat complicated tactics game, then I'd say you've found your gem. For me personally, I found the game to have far too many little nooks and cranies, making the game more of a mathematical chore than a fun experience. Once again, if you want a PURE TACTICS, MANAGEMENT, AND CALCULATIVE GAME, this is for you. If not, keep looking.

Coast Guard
 –

Not polished and unfinished looking.

This game looked alright at first, but AWFUL voice acting paired with glitchy visuals, off-mood music, and a boring, forced story, I cannot recomment it to anyone in good concious.

The Aquatic Adventure of the Last Human
 –

A fun, unique indie game!

Indie games are very special to my heart. I have fond memories of browsing itch.io and gamejolt, playing tons of great indie games, and to see yet another hidden gem like this is very refreshing. A great indie game always brings a new element to the gaming world, catching it's audience by suprise, and this game did exactly that. Even the price is perfect.

The gameplay and controls are both fluid and satisfying, the sense of atmosphere is extremely well done. The setting and backgrounds are stunning, setting mood in a superb way. The bosses have a very Shadow of the Colossus vibe to them, giving you this daunting, but heroic feeling few games have done.

Idependent developers have been catching the gaming world by suprise of years now, and The Aquatic Adventure of the Last Human is no exception. Please support this game.

Brothers in Arms: Double Time
 –

Well done realism!

This game is very innovative; I'm suprised it isn't more popular than it is. However, I have only one complaint. What makes a good game is how much you enjoyed the experience. I think The developers were trying to make a unique, REALISTIC World War 2 shooter, and they delivered, at the expense of making the game really fun. I had a great time playing this game, but not a fun time.

What I mean is this game involves heavy tactics. You need to bide you time, treating every level as real war. If you're the badass, run-in-guns-blazing-saving-the-day-through-sheer- firepower kind of gamer, then you won't like Brothers in Arms: Double Time. If you want that rare hybrid between strategy and first person shooters, this is for you.

The Walking Dead: Michonne - A Telltale Miniseries (Telltale Key)
 –

Good- for a time. Now it's just disappointing.

I LOVED the first walking dead series. To this day it's one of the best "your choices matter games I've ever seen." so I was really excited for michonne. I wasn't expecting this game to live up to the walking dead's standard, but I wasn't expecting to be so disappointed, either. I feel like telltale wasn't really trying with the game, espesially at the end. Things just... happened, and that's the way they ended. It was extremely lackluster. If you must see for yourself, but it in a sale. This game is NOT worth the base price.

Call of Duty: Black Ops
 –

Terrible Performance

My 2013 Macbook Air meets ALL the minimum requirements for this game, and I WAS able to play it reasonably well. I was having a great time.... for about 15 minutes. Then it crashed. I thought, "Well, alright, some big games do that every once and again." and it did. It crashed again, and again, and again, and I had to restart the entire game every time. If it arrives on sale again, then maybe try it for yourself, but I would bide my time. The game itself is good, with good performance, the crashes are just really tidious.

SUPERHOT
 –

Innovative, but a little vain.

This WOULD be five stars but the story (not spoiling anything) is EXTREMELY pretencious. Gameplaywise, however it is fatastic. I would sugest it. Good price, fair performance, and groundbreaking mechanics. Valkade says buy it!

Borderlands 2: Wattle Gobbler
 –

Yet another great expansion

2k and gearbox did a fantastic job with ALL the borderlands games. This dlc is literally no different: great humor, fun combat, and more game time, wrapped in a different package every time. Buy the content, you will NOT be disappointed.

Borderlands 2: TK Baha's Bloody Harvest
 –

The first of the loveable headhunter expansions

This is classic borderlands: Intuitive, fun, in-depth, and adsolutely, stupidly, humerous! The borderlands games are very close to my heart, and this expansion is only one of many DLCs that will keep you laughing and occupied for hours! Any fan of borderlands with have a blast!

The Orange Box
 –

Fantastic Classics for Fantastic worth!

Valve is a gaming icon for their ground-breaking, mind-blowing games. 20 Dollars for 5 of Valve's greatest titles borders on theft. 10 Dollars for an amazing game like half life 2 alone would be a dream, but I got Half Life 2, both episodes, Lost Coast, AND portal for 20! Portal 2 on MacGameStore is 20 dollars by itself. Buy this bundle. You have no idea what you're missing!

This War of Mine
 –

Good in it's own way, but BAD first impressions.

This War of Mine is far better suited to Mobile Gaming. For a Macintosh, the gameplay is extremely lacking. Calvino Noir had this problem. Great atmosphere, real tension, and the WORST controls. A to go left, D to go right, E or W or S to interact, mouse to choose, and so on. It isn't that hard to adapt a Mobile game to keyboard controls. I would highly sugest buying the mobile version, but don't get it for Mac.

The Talos Principle: Road to Gehenna
 –

As good as the base game

The Talos Principle employs an original concept, good graphics, and a fantastic story, with level design second to none. If you liked the base game, then you WILL like this. My only complaint: somewhat expensive, wait for a sale.

Borderlands 2: Wedding Day Massacre
 –

Heh. Heheh. HAHA! Oh, so good.

This is one of the reasons why I love the Borderlands Games. Anyone who likes borderlands 2 will love this expansion forever! Buy it, it's a fantastic DLC.

Borderlands 2: Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2
 –

11 Chalenging new levels

Not much here to say. Good price, good combat, more levels to the level cap, just a fun new expansion which adds some witty echo dialougue and more game time.

Borderlands 2: Sir Hammerlock vs. the Son of Crawmerax
 –

Yet another fun and hilarious addition to Borderlands 2

I'm literally running out of praise for this game. Funny, intense, engaging, and fluid. On top of all that, the price is perfect. Buy the pack, worth every penny!

Borderlands 2: Mercenary Day
 –

An entertaining christmas adventure!

I've been playing this expansion about two hours or so, and it's not extremely special, but it is fun, funny, and a good little chtistmas adventure.
