Love it

I don't know why, but I find myself really invested in the intel aspects of the game.

![]() | – CK2/Vic2 meet EU4
Having consorts and ruler personalities starts to make this feel a little like Crusader Kings. I'd prefer if the great powers could be a little more dynamic. Instead of a hard-coded 8, a variable number would be more realistic imo. Alternatively, adding in secondary powers like Vic2 had would have added some more depth. by sgiffin, Canada - Apr 24th 2017

![]() | – Improves the trade game
Adds more depth to the trade aspects of the game. The only issue with the canal projects is that by the time you can afford them the game is almost over. Not sure why there's no achievements for them. by sgiffin, Canada - Apr 24th 2017

![]() | – More than just South America improvements
The treaty mechanics really improve the colonization game. It cuts down on the bordergore of colonies and gives incentive to make colonies in a region to get the treaty. The exploration missions really cut down on micromanaging your exploration. No more "oops, my explorer died of attrition at sea cause I was too busy running a war". by sgiffin, Canada - Apr 24th 2017
