Here’s a list of new features and fixes: • macOS Dock Shortcuts may now be created for purchased games and demos via the My Games "Action" menu. • Added a new system to ensure purchased games are registered after your Mac is updated to a new version of macOS. • Fixed a very rare threading issue when changing the row size in My Games. • Made some minor changes and fixes to the My Games "Gear" menu. • Incompatible games and demos may now be hidden via the "Gear" menu on macOS 10.12 thru 10.14. We’re very excited about the new Dock Shortcuts feature and hope you are too! The MacGameStore app works on both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 10.12 and later. Here’s a list of all the major new features: • Added native support for Apple Silicon Macs. Note: Apple Silicon support is for the MacGameStore.com app only. Individual Games and Demos are not affected by this change. • Fixed many graphics glitches in the app’s Titlebar, Sidebar, Preferences, and the various My Games lists. • Games & Demos now remain in the Downloads list until they're manually cleared (via the main menu) or the app is Quit. • Improved the response speed when searching the Store. • The app now has a more robust software update check at launch time. • Removed several old and/or unused systems from the codebase. • Updated critical 3rd-party libraries. • Made several improvements to the MacGameStore Helper app. The MacGameStore app works on both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 10.12 and later. – In the coming days, this website is moving forward and leaving the legacy web code behind. As such anyone who has a very old web browser (one not capable of html5 and Javascript), or has Javascript disabled, will no longer be able to maintain an Account with the Game Store. Various old code will be removed preventing non-javascript web browsers from performing actions. Also, cookies are now a requirement to maintain security with your account. The cookies created and maintained here are for the use of the store. Cookies created by external services (like google and facebook) are for their own purposes. Finally, in the coming week we will be introducing more account security in the form of 2-Step Sign In authentication codes. Sign Ins will be required to authenticate each device, via codes emailed to you directly. You may however opt out of this advanced security at your own discretion.
