Airport Madness 3D: Volume 2
 –

Bad game

This is a bad game. It feels like they took a bunch of generic assets and did the bare minimum to turn it into a game. It is also not fun to play.

Crusader Kings II: The Reaper's Due Collection
 –

One of the better ones

This is one of the better ones. The plague stuff can be a bit bleak though.

Crusader Kings II: Horse Lords
 –

Decent expansion

This is a decent expansion, but there are so many expansions for this game-that it can be a bit difficult to sort out exactly what each adds to the game and how to access the new content.

Europa Universalis IV: DLC Collection
 –

Decent collection

This is a decent collection if you can manage to find it at a sale price. I am not sure I would recommend purchasing at full price. Paradox DLC tends to be hit or miss.

Crusader Kings II: Charlemagne
 –

Interesting addtions

This expansion adds some really interesting settings to the game that add to the variety of historical possibilities.

Europa Universalis IV: Common Sense Collection
 –

Not a fan

Some of the stuff this expansion adds should just be in the base game by default instead of hidden behind an expensive expansion pack.

Europa Universalis IV: El Dorado Collection
 –

Very overpriced

This expansion feels very overpriced unless it is on sale. It doesn't add enough to the game considering the price.

Crusader Kings II: Way of Life
 –

Interesting options

This adds a lot of variety and flavor-but feels overpriced as a standalone expansion. This content could perhaps have been added to another expansion.

Europa Universalis IV: The Art of War Collection
 –

Wait for sale

Definitely wait for a sale. It's cool that they combine expansions to add value, but the collections still feel overpriced because they are basically the price of of a full game.

Europa Universalis IV: Leviathan

Indeed this is a fine mess but...

First, I will not recommend this DLC at this present state.

That said - I need to remind everyone that, (1) we tend to be pretty brutal and ruthless as a community, and (2) nobody wants to put his/her heart and soul into a project that will earn 1 star.

All I can say is, we should give them some time to fix this mess. Their design decisions were very ambitious, and I actually like some of the things they have done. Introducing monuments was a very interesting step to say the least, and viable play with the aborigins is another step in diversifying the game play.

True - we need much more fine tuning. We get 22 pip infantry at Mil tech level 26 as an Australian aborigin. Or - frequently we get good 15~20 aborigin capitals crowding up the most developed province chart. These things need to be balanced. (I for one think the aboriginal military units are way too overpowered.) But they at least offer a competitive game play. My preference would be to stick close to the historical accuracy, but then who am I to judge their design philosoply? So I am not going to throw a tamper tantrum over that.

Yes. This game is broken even without these aforementioned balance issues. I've seen savedata corruptions, random crashes and et al. I cannot assume this is the result devs wanted; remember that they want same things as we all do - fun game that is functional. If anything, they are the ones that will fix this game, not us. Sure, flaming them in a time like this does help let the steam out of your head, but we can keep it civil, no? If they decide it's not worth the time and effort, then we are stuck with this horrible mess. Once that happens, everybody loses. Keep that in mind.

All in all, this DLC, even in this hot mess, comes with load of potential. Don't hate it because it doesn't work. Give them time. They will make it right.

Stellaris: Necroids Species Pack

Stellaris: Necroids Species Pack

A new interesting way to play with slaves and some cool civics, plus the Necroids look really cool. I would recommend if you like the other species packs that add new features.

Imperator: Rome - Heirs of Alexander Content Pack

It also supports the continued development and gives us big free updates like 2.0 which came out alongside this expansion.

Hearts of Iron IV: Battle for the Bosporus

The focus trees are fun but the nations involved have some more advanced mechanics and can be quite hard to manage. Would recommend, though not necessarily for less experienced players.

Stellaris: Humanoids Species Pack
 –

More variety

More portraits are always a good addition to the game. New ship models also looks pretty good. I recommend reaching for this one when it is on sale.

Outworld Battlegrounds
 –

Stellaris: Nemesis
 –

A really good expansion for the "diplomatic" game in Stellaris

Where Federations (the previous Stellaris expansion) felt incomplete or plain, Nemesis is really adding relevant features as well as immersion.

Nemesis is mostly about the "dark side" of diplomacy: more options to covert ops and espionage, as well as imposing your rule over your partners. You can even become the crisis that could destroy the galaxy!

There are some balance issues still, but, as we know, they'll be fixed more sooner than later.

Europa Universalis IV: Leviathan
 –

One of the worse EU4 expansions. You can skip it.

I assume the numerous bugs and balance issues will be fixed eventually. But, besides that, Leviathan is an underwhelmming EU4 expansion, with a bunch of disarrayed little mechanics that feels awkward in simulation terms (monuments), not well implemented (new diplomatic actions related to favors) or plainly wrong (moving development between countries).

Regarding to content (southeast Asia and Australia, totemic religion...), it's a mixed bag. I don't like the impression that it all comes to be some "buffs" to make easier "painting the map".

It's overpriced, also.
