Cities: Skylines - Green Cities Icon
Non-essential but Good DLC
by b00p, USA - Jan 1st 2019

A non-essential DLC in a game with probably too many, but still worth it on a sale.

Stellaris: Apocalypse Icon
Non-essential but Good on Sale
by b00p, USA - Jan 1st 2019

It adds some content but probably not enough for the price. Worth it on a deep sale or for completionists.

Crusader Kings II: The Reaper's Due Icon
The DLC that broke me
by b00p, USA - Jan 1st 2019

This adds an excellent plague mechanic and was probably the last time I felt like purchasing a CKII dlc.

Tyranny - Bastard's Wound Icon
Good for a new game.
by darjeeling, Canada - Jan 1st 2019

This is a great addition to Tyranny, but is best enjoyed with a new game, as it adds a lot of mid-game content.

Airport Madness 3D: Volume 2 Icon
No my cup of tea
by Ricardo S.4, Portugal - Jan 1st 2019

Could be a awsome game. I got this for free and it was really not my kind of game

Airport Madness 3D: Volume 2 Icon
Trash
by b00p, USA - Jan 1st 2019

Really poor in almost every way. Basically a clicker with awful production value. Not even a charming failure, just a cheap cash grab. Not sure who it's meant to fool.

Typical CKII DLC Cosmetics
by b00p, USA - Jan 1st 2019

Age of Enigma Icon
Good, but . . .
by JT&LB, USA - Jan 1st 2019

We like Adventure Games, not Hidden Object games! Too many Hidden Objects games are listed as adventure games. This game is less adventure & more hidden object-so it's not my favorite. You are given the choice of playing a Casual or Adventure version. We played the Adventure version, which allows you to roam freely. All was OK until we put up the torch before getting the incense burner. We were stuck-could not take back the torch, and could not get the burner (it was grayed out)-so couldn't go on in the game. Had to restart. What is funny is we were previously told we couldn't put the torch up because we still needed it. We then used it to light the lanterns in another scene and it then allowed us to put it in the other scene, prior to taking the burner. So why didn't it stop us then-Bad programming? It would have been nice to go back to a saved game, like in true adventure games, but there aren't any in this game.
All in all, the story was interesting, but the reuse of the same cut scene was boring. The puzzles were different, but sometimes they used the same one too many times. (The bonsai tree was hard-could only find 6 of the 7 cuts.) The graphics and actions were very hidden object like, right down to the tinkle. The voices were done well & the eerie background music set the mood. It was worth the sale price, but it is not for the true adventurer!

Shadow Wolf Mysteries: Under the Crimson Moon Icon
Colorful scenes & interesting puzzles
by BorisBee, USA - Dec 31st 2018

My least favorite part of any of these games is the hidden object scenes. I prefer the puzzles. However, the colorful graphics really bring the hidden object scenes to life and make them more enjoyable. I also thought the puzzles were interesting and different from similar games like this one.

Tales From The Dragon Mountain 2: The Lair Icon
Imaginative world to explore
by BorisBee, USA - Dec 31st 2018

Not only do you get to interact with dragons in this game, but the graphics and the sites are well done and interesting. Puzzles were fun and game play overall enjoyable!

Star Wars The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition Icon
Good combat
by k-athleen, Canada - Dec 31st 2018

Combat was great. Would have liked it if there was any degree of roleplaying component.

Kerbal Space Program: Making History Icon
More flexibility and content
by bills6693, United Kingdom - Dec 31st 2018

A nice DLC that adds missions, extra content/components for your rocketeering needs, and nice visual customisation too. Still pales compared to the additions of mods but a nice bit of extra content and supports the developers too.

King's Bounty: The Legend Icon
Great game; doesn't run well on mac
by k-athleen, Canada - Dec 31st 2018

I played this game on PC and it ran fantastically without any of the crashing or invisible units or funky spaced text—so all those issues are mac exclusive. The game itself is a lot of fun though, so it's worth getting on sale to see if it works on your computer. (Through my troubleshooting, it seems to have a better chance on iMacs than on Macbooks.)
There're a lot of fun tactical things to do (chest of rage ftw!), and many different kinds of units to work with (ancient bears are a personal favourite of mine).
This is a great game, and it's a shame that it wasn't ported well to mac.

Bad North Icon
Small, lite tactics at an excellent level
by bills6693, United Kingdom - Dec 31st 2018

This game has a tight focus which serves it really well. Its management is light and serves just to give a little progression for your units as you fight island to island. It is a game that rewards taking risks - as long as you can make them pay off and don't overstretch. Your 3 unit types have amazing synergy with each other - any combination of 2 or 3 of them, of 2 of the same unit, etc all make for very different tactics and approaches to consider when fighting. And as the campaign progresses it doesn't lose focus and keeps you engaged the whole way through. Very highly recommended!

BATTLETECH Icon
Tactics and management fun
by bills6693, United Kingdom - Dec 31st 2018

Great game featuring (as expected) giant mechs fighting it out against each other. Manage multiple considerations as you try to pummel the enemy into dust and then play the management game to bring your soldiers to the next fight, coping with injuries and battle damage. A few issues exist with the campaign, namely that the story missions are unbalanced (the rewards are astronomically high compared to normal missions), there's no reason to bring smaller mechs along when bigger ones are available, and the loop can get a little easy, although DLC may bring some fixes to this.

Cities: Skylines - Parklife Icon
Fun park customisation
by bills6693, United Kingdom - Dec 31st 2018

Small but fun addition which brings to life the city parks that were missing before. Whilst I didn't find the nature reserves, zoos or theme parks as great (although they're still fun to add for sure), the city parks add an element that seemed to be missing before - no longer does your city have just a few plazas and huddles of trees, you can now build proper parks and gardens like you would find in most cities, larger blocks of land dedicated to the outdoors in the middle of your city.
