I like this game as it has sevral things going on at the same time. You have to be quick and accurate with your curser. You have to be observant. You have to have patience. All in all a good game.
⭐ Excellent Classic HOPA — Read the Mac Compatibility Warning Carefully
This is a fantastic early Mystery Case Files game. It features genuinely challenging mini-games and, like many early HOPA titles, a large number of well-designed hidden-object scenes. These older games clearly had much more time, creativity, and thought put into them compared to many modern HOPA releases.
⚠️ Important Mac Warning: This game will not run on macOS versions newer than OS X 10.8. I tested it on macOS High Sierra (10.13): the game launches but displays a black screen and is unplayable. There are no known workarounds for running it natively on modern macOS.
✅ Windows still works: The game runs correctly on Windows, including Windows 11, and plays perfectly there. I personally run it on my Mac using VMware with Windows 11, which works well — but only on Intel Macs. Windows on ARM (Apple Silicon) will not work.
If you want to play this game today: • Buy the Windows version from Big Fish Games • Run it on a real Windows PC or an Intel Mac using a Windows VM
Despite the platform limitations, this is an excellent classic and absolutely worth playing if you have a compatible setup.
Well I really usually like all the games in this series of games but this one in particular I just could not get into it. could not hold my attention to play. so happy I did not pay full price for this.. this poor rating is MY opinion. other ppl might find this game enjoyable so have fun playing
I have played many hidden object adventure games over the years. This is an ok game. There are very few hidden object scenarios in the game and they don't have very many items to find. Also, the puzzles, almost without exception, were glitchy so I ended up skipping almost all of them. Not because I didn't know how to play or couldn't complete them, but because I had to keep doing the same things over and over because of the glitches. Otherwise the story line was intersting and fun, and the art work and graphics were great. I would play more games like this if they worked a little on the puzzles and maybe improved or added more hidden object options.

I love this series !
Every version gets better without changing too much. The graphics are cleaber and crisper than other games in time management. This is comparable to rescue team and viking brothers as far as gameplay goes. Also the difficulty level on high is just right!
Once again the paranormal are at work.. strange things happen and its your job to figure out who what when where and why. in the first part of the game it's all about Love and ... i dont want to give too muych away. the 2nd poart ( Bonus Chapter_ is about the paranormal a casino, and a pair of gloves. Fun game if you like this series. you have to collect eyes which are HARD to find in a lot of the scenes and not sure how many of them are total in the game i only found 20. also have to find 12 collectables and i only found 11. i missed a cat and the game does not let you go back and look.. have fun
I am really enjoying the different levels and the different challenges. Keeps your brain engaged. Easy enough, but has very gradually increasing difficulty, so subtle you hardly notice you are operating at a higher level. I am elderly and I use this game and several other types of games in the morning for mental exercises.
Quite a change from the usual connect 3 games. It makes you think about your next move as it could lead to quite a few points. A game you can dip in and out of. One that can leave you chasing one tile for quite some time.
I played it only on level „hard", it is starting easy and really slowly increasing in difficulty. Most levels can be solved without losing a live if one is concentrated enough. Only the last level was a bit more challenging bit still solveable.
