The game had some bugs and issues preventing you from finalizing levels. Which was a shame as the game is actually quite nice. Updates and bugfixes solved some of the problems. But now it just stops and crashes when starting level 3.3.

Has elaborate but not so difficult puzzles. Has a neat story but the voices are just awkward. Some made me laugh. However, the sound adjusting makes it more enjoyable. The ambience is hypnotic and I love the match 3 game they added in there. Thank you so much for that!

Purchased Roads of Rome: Portals 2 Collector's Edition on MacGameStore and I'm encountering a blocking issue.

On level 2.8, the markets are not clickable at all, making it impossible to progress.

I am using a Mac with Apple M2 Pro (Apple Silicon). I have already tried:

- switching between fullscreen and windowed mode
- clicking around the object (possible offset issue)
- restarting the level and the game

The issue persists consistently.

After so many years (decades?) of ownership troubles, the devs managed to get the rights loose.

For the game itself, the leap from RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 was massive. 2d -> 3d gave a lot of gameplay changes, least of all the coaster cam which entertained me greatly as a child.
Is it worth 20$ today? I'd say no. The world has moved on and become more expensive. But definitely pick it up on sale if you like these types of games, its still a treat.

A different story, plenty of magic.
