Europa Universalis IV: Common Sense
 –

Almost essential DLC

So many things in the vanilla version make no sense, this DLC addresses many of them. Definitely makes the game more fun and more straight forward. Buy on sale if you don't play EU IV very often. If you are a regular player, you should already have it.

Picross Fairytale: Legend of the Mermaid

Too many flaws in the game.

Level 4-1 has a flaw in the game. Other than that, ti's good, but you can't finish the game after 4-1 due to the flaw. I like that it lets you make mistakes, but I don't like that you can't ever reset the individual blocks in the game. After marked, it is either yes or no when a return to neutral is needed.

Interesting idea, but too many frustrating bugs

It's an interesting idea for a game, combining hidden object (which I don't generally enjoy) with time management (which I do). Certainly not the best game I've ever played, but a decent way to kill time. Unfortunately, once you get into the later levels, it starts getting buggy - ingredients don't draw correctly, so are stretched or squashed, making them hard to identify. In some cases they are completely invisible and can only be found using hints. I finally gave up when I encountered an ingredient that was not only invisible, but un-clickable. Had it not been for that invisible, un-clickable ingredient, I would've given this 3 stars. As it is, you're better off spending your money elsewhere - the game definitely isn't good enough to justify the bugs, minor as most of them are.

Stellaris: Ancient Relics Story Pack
 –

Archeology

Archeology is really nice for mid game. Dig sites pop up when surveying planets alongside anomalies. More stuff to do in single player.

Tropico 6
 –

WARNING! Tropico 6 May Not Work with OS Catalina

Installed Tropico 6 (via Steam) on my iMac Pro (2017) running Mac OS 10.15.3 on March 21, 2020. Game did not start immediately; tried verifiying local files via Steam, then started again: Tropico 6 re-verified the files, started, then crashed right after initialization. Other purchasers have reported similar problems with this game running under 10.15.

Some more DLC for a great game. This one makes your cities a bit brighter, and gives us eco-freaks some better options.

Based on a classic

It's hard not to think of Syndicate playing this game. Of course it has flaws but it is worth it for lovers of the genre.

Best DLC

This is my favorite DLC for Cities: Skylines. It adds so much to the game, that you can start playing it in a different way. Highly recommended.

Crusader Kings II: Charlemagne
 –

Good addition to the base game

One of the better DLCs for the vanilla version, IMHO. Some nice additions to game play, especially starting in 769 A.D. - I play most of my games starting in this year. The Charlemagne story is interesting to play too. Definitely one to buy on sale.
