![]() | – Ends Too Soon!!
Like most hidden object games, this game passed way to quickly for me. I did find it a bit more challenging to find the objects, as they are silhouettes, and the mini puzzles were a little side bonus. Sound effects were great! Found myself working faster and faster to the music. Overall it was about 2 hours of puzzle play and that, to me, is not worth the price. by Kerry Seitz, USA - Jul 20th 2008

![]() | – Nothing Special
I always like word games to pass the time, so I gave this one a try. You have to spell words from the letters available and score enough points to destroy the beaver dams. Bigger words, or rarer letters earn you more points and get you closer to beating each level. Gameplay Graphics and Sound Bottom Line The ONLY reason this game got two stars instead of one is that it worked properly and ran smoothly. Not being functionally defective is the best thing I can say about this game. by DJW, USA - Jul 20th 2008

![]() | – Bad
To begin with, the controls are awful. Just awful. The gameplay is way too dumb but it's made challenging by the awful controls. The graphics are just WALL-E Textures pasted onto squares, and the cinematic sequences are over compressed. It's a horrible game for gamers, but it might pass okay with the kids. by Timi, USA - Jul 20th 2008

![]() | – Too short
I felt that it's a bit of a waste of money. It didn't take me long to get through it, whereas other games last an awful lot longer and seem better value. This was just starting to get going and then its finished. The graphics are great and the puzzles too, but I could have just done with the demo hour as a couple of hours later I've completed it... I'm not satisfied with this one. by Jennifer Patience, England - Jul 20th 2008

![]() | – Great Questions
This game has some wonderful questions, in a variety of categories. Like all of these games, the inane comments and repetitive music soon get irritating, but the gameplay is worth it. by nelson1457, USA - Jul 20th 2008

![]() | – Good Title for a Good Game
Just tried it out and will purchase it. I need to think the different components through, and not being a police person this can be a challenge. It looks easy on TV and in Movies, but this is the player needing to do all the mental and detective work. I really am enjoying this one. by Rita Hanley, Canada - Jul 19th 2008

![]() | – Objects half visible
Making the objects half visible makes the game more thrilling, it makes you think. What's the sense to glow the object and make it very obvious that that's the one you need, did you used your brain. This game is more like puzzle/mystery solving. Sneaking than attacking. Focused on the story. We should be thankful that someone has created a game like this for Mac. Use intel and nvidia graphic card for this to look good. I use intel x3100(not a good vid card),but it just looks the way it is. No dropped frames even on full resolution. This game was originally on windows so I dont think it will look good on PPC. by Panic Girl, Japan - Jul 14th 2008

![]() | – BGM makes it scary, gameplay is great.
The graphics may not be the best but it is not bad. The gameplay is amazing, you can interact with almost anything around you. I would say this is one of the scariest game I ever played. At first it made me uninstall this. why? I'm too scared to continue and see the icon hangin on my finder and my dock. The sounds are amazingly scary, the sounds are also the hint when your near danger or if somethings up. This is a puzzle/mystery/adventure game, it's focused more on story and puzzles. This is dark and horrifying. I couldn't even continue because I'm too scared for this kind of game, I just couldn't stand it. These are great on Mac. I tried this on my intel macbook, and set the game resolution to 1280X800 (macbook full resolution), and it played smoothly, no dropped frames. I don't know how will it look like on PPC. Some people were complaining about Penumbra: Overture about the bad graphics on their Mac, maybe their using PPC thats why. by Panic Girl, Japan - Jul 14th 2008

![]() | – Gawd! This game sucks!!!!
Tried the demo. Extremely frustrating. Worse gameplay could not be imagined. Really. Playing this miserable excuse for a game is like staring at an oil painting. Even with the walkthrough, I spent my free 60 minutes just trying to make it out of the first room. Never made it. Mash the coin (intuitive!) and remove the vent. Nope. The game is too clumsy. Perhaps this says something about me, but I've removed this from my system permanently after wasting almost an hour. Myst fans may like it, but I doubt it. If you enjoy watching paint dry, grab this-it'll be exciting. If not, take a pass. Even at 20 bucks, it's a complete waste, in my opinion. by George Andrews, USA - Jul 14th 2008

![]() | – OLD
This games doesn't need to be on this site. I have downloaded loads of games from here and loved each one. This game looks like it was programed in the early 80. The graphics are very low quality. When you play full screen the graphics become very grainy. The controls are way out-dated. You can't even used the mouse or track pad!!! Not recommended. by Sam Gordon, USA - Jul 10th 2008
