![]() | – A Great Game with a lof of Twists!
The Womens Murder Club is a game with part H/O, part puzzle and part detective story. It has many original mini games and great graphics. It has a much stronger storyline than most h/o games and makes great use of collecting inventory items. It is realistic enough to make you feel like a real detective lol. There is so much to the game that you won't be disappointed! I am sure there will be more to follow. by K.Baillie, Canada - Jul 27th 2008

![]() | – Average to good
There are a lot of interesting scenes, good reality theme and neat use of the cursors. However, many of the objects are unclear and too many hints. It is a lighthearted game on the easy side yet it offers something different for H/O fans than the typical mystery, ghosts or haunted house. by K.Baillie, Canada - Jul 27th 2008

![]() | – Addictive Time Management Game
The game has a lot of challenges. One of the neatest things is the game atmosphere changes with each decade. It has great replay value. It can be difficult to unlock all of the EXPERT sections. It is a fast paced time management game with lots of twists. There are also lots of upgrades in the game which make it worth playing again. by K.Baillie, Canada - Jul 27th 2008

![]() | – Still a bargain...
LOTR:Return of the King First off, I thought I was buying "Battle for Middle Earth," so I was shocked to get a First person hack and slash in the mail...oops! However, I was pleasantly surprised. ROTK has very nice graphics and movie cut scenes, and loads of special features that should please any fan. Unlockable characters are very cool, and so is the added movie and art bonuses. On my Macbook 2.0Ghz w/ 1 GB Ram (64 meg VRAM)I can only play it on lower settings, and 800x600 resolution. Anything above that and during melees or explosions it lags horribly. That said, at my moderate settings, it still is a pretty game with lots of eye candy. The gameplay itself is not inspired when played with keyboard and mouse: this is definitely a game best played with a gamepad, as the "combo" moves (ie:LMB, f, L-shift, etc) are difficult to pull off without a double-jointed pinky. Never fear, tho, it still good, you just might not be able to use your more advanced moves in the middle of a frantic battle. (Macbook users will want to re-map some controls to make it easier) The sound is pretty good, altho some cutscenes are not perfectly synced to the mouths moving on screen. But most sounds are right out of the movie. When loading some levels on your repeated attempts to beat them, it can get annoying that you have to watch the intro to a level over and over with no way to move right to the battle. (there is a workaround for PC, but haven't had luck with it on my mac) The game has a tendency to crash ONCE IN A WHILE...not often enough to throw it out the window, but every few days just to keep you on your toes. Saving is not really handy...you cannot save in the middle of a level, or right before a boss. You can only save after completing a level. Overall, a good game, not a great one, but for 14.95, a real bargain. by Aaron Dyck, USA - Jul 26th 2008

![]() | – Women's Murder Club
I do enjoy the Hidden object games, and this one is exceptional. I like that there is a combination of hidden objects and puzzles to work out. Up there with my all time favorite of Azada. Hope to see more of this kind of game. If there is a negative, it is much too short. by writeruno, USA - Jul 26th 2008

![]() | – Deceptive!
Started out deceptively easy and got progressively harder. Two of the cases (solving puzzles) I ran out of time and had to redo. The graphics are excellent...good detailed artistry. The sound is not annoying and the story lines are varied. You WILL need to use the enlarged magnifying glass or go insane. Would do another from this creator. The game is a foot... by Sandy Allenson, USA - Jul 26th 2008

![]() | – Bad Experience
Running this game on an emac with 10.4.11 maxed out with ram but always crashing randomly to the point where i have to force switch off the computer all the time. When it does run, it is a great game but with all the crashes nit really worth it. Can't find an update anywhere on the net. by Mark Blignaut, Botswana - Jul 25th 2008

![]() | – If you like to cook . . .
The game is enjoyable; it teaches you how to prepare dishes without the mess. The chopping, mixing and baking are realistic. I was surprised how much fun this was. The recipes are real which makes it cooler. by Gail Morgan, USA - Jul 22nd 2008

![]() | – It's okay
With so many hidden object games out there, this one was rather disappointing. The graphics are not crisp and because of that items are harder to find. The commentator's voice tends to get annoying as you find the hidden objects. by Gail Morgan, USA - Jul 22nd 2008

![]() | – It's about time ! ! !
If you are a Dark Castle player, the third installment is a must. You get to play the first two games and new levels. It's in COLOR ! ! ! Since the company fixed the pref3 bug the game encountered, there are no glitches. A must have ! ! ! by Gail Morgan, USA - Jul 22nd 2008

![]() | – Great game
Wonderful graphics, sound, mini games. The only problem I encountered was fitting together the puzzle pieces. If you don't have a mouse with a right clicker, hold down the control button when moving the pieces around. I had to contact Macgamestore for that info. the directions do not include that bit of info. Best hidden object game I've played. by Gail Morgan, USA - Jul 22nd 2008

![]() | – Worth the money
I love hidden object games, but, this one offered soooo much more. The game is incredible, you feel like a part of the story and playing all the roles is exciting. My favorite was being able to do forensic "stuff" like collecting samples and running tests to check the blood type. The only draw back is once the game is beat . . . there is no alternative play. BUT, the game is worth owning. by Gail Morgan, USA - Jul 22nd 2008

![]() | – Great Game!
As a long-time James Patterson fan, I was pleased to try this game. Then I found a variety of fascinating puzzles: in addition to the usual seek and find, it contains math, word and logic puzzles which all present changing challenges each time I play. Of course, I purchased this game and hope the creators will produce more fun. by Judy Boylan, Canada - Jul 22nd 2008

![]() | – Good idea just too short
I just played the demo hour and already completed the first 3 investigations. this was only using the hints twice. i was going to buy it then discovered there where only 9 investigations so as i had already completed 3 i decided that this was not VFM therefor did not buy. If it had 20 investigations then different story, probably would have as the idea is a good one in seek and find games. by laura gaitens, England - Jul 22nd 2008

![]() | – Pure fun, no extra fluff...
This game is strangely fun; it has a tight focus, offers something fun to do and then lets me do it. No sickly sweet fuzzy animals, no silly 1-dimensional story lines that were written by 3 year olds, no pandering to my intelligence, just a fun and well made game. The sound and graphics are excellent, without being gratuitous, I keep thinking I want to go back and play it (addictive!) What I like about it best, is that I just get in and play and have fun quickly... makes for a good break between my work tasks. Would recommend to all! by Game Player, France - Jul 22nd 2008

Overall Lame. Less than an hour of game play and repeats of the game present no new challenges. by Bill Phillips, USA - Jul 20th 2008
