Terrible

Terrible game! Obtuse clues and the worst part is that the same pop ups keep coming up until you want to scream. "Yes I see it is a burner don't keep telling me that". I have purchased over 20 games and this is the worst.

Fun little game after switching to Snow Leopard

Just downloaded this game and I cannot get it to run. The 'readme' states that there is an issue with some ATI graphics cards and a fix is in progress.... they suggest to work around this that you download an earlier version of the graphics driver! This is not cool for a game I just paid for. Boo.

*update: game works fine after I installed Snow Leapord.

NOT supported!

I played this game a few years ago, and enjoyed it EXCEPT for the crashing! At certain parts of the game it would routinely crash. I submitted a ticket THREE times to Virtual Programming and heard NOTHING back. I've purchased several of their games, which are now abandoned... There were two versions of the patch depending on whether you bought the DVD or from Deliver2Mac. Of course, the patch which supposedly fixed some of the problems was NOT available for the Deliver2Mac version. Maybe someone will buy VP and fire their support staff. That would be a good start.

Frustrating with no hints

I am an avid HO/Adventure game player and this one is the worst. The direction of the game is frustrating at best, with puzzles that make no sense as to how to solve them, no hint capability, the story line is ridiculous. Certainly you folks can do better than this. :(

The Stroke of Midnight CE

This looked a good game, so I downloaded and started to play. Unfortunately it was all problems. When you go to read the book you cant - it stays on the first page. When you have completed a task , you have to wait until the opening page stops, the screen kept shrinking, and then the game freezes. This is the first ever bad report I've had with a mac game, so no buy. Is anybody else having the same problems?

Cursor mal-functioned and needs better clues

The game cursor would not act right so I changed to the mac's cursor. The fairy is not that helpful. She often points out areas that have already been done. I am now stuck on the puzzle towards the end where you look to the stars and turn them on or off. The clue with the sun, moon and star alignment is not helping. Are there hint sites for these games? The game is graphically pretty but could use a map of the castle and the option to skip a puzzle or get better hints.

Fiction Fixers: The Curse of Oz

The wizard of oz

Most of the puzzles were challenging enough. I had to search through a lot of previous screens to figure out were the hidden clues were. I liked the game but it was hard at spots and I had to skip a puzzle. Overall I would recommend it to beginner players.

The Otherside: Realm of Eons

A disaster

I had to start with the game more than 5 times from the very beginning because of a bug in the prawn shop only to stuck again a few scenes later. No chance to go on - the game crashes.
No fun at all!

Awesome!

This is definitely one of the best games I have ever played. It was not made for making money, it was made because the programmers and developes had fun making it. The visuals, the details, the story, the music and atmosphere. This is art!
