It's a nifty idea. The mouse-based interface isn't as elegant as it could be though. The game is also visually lacking, it looks very empty and bland. The fake commcial billboards would only add something if they were really smart and funny, but they aren't. Overall it feels lackluster, for that reason alone I wouldn't price it higher than $5.

I really enjoyed this game
Never played a turn-based game before. It took a while to complete this game and that was very satisfying. I'm looking forward to Eschalon: Book 2. It was really slow at times on my PowerBook G4 but it was still a great game.

Buggy
I encountered several bugs, including one with the saxophone playing. I had to exit the game to shut it off; otherwise that annoying sound was ever-present. Also, the bug where the game could no longer be saved ruined any further gameplay. Disappointing. There really is no satisfying "end" to the game; it is neither won nor lost after the character accumulates all the various skills.
The developers were helpful in the beginning and I was able to get the game running but I just lost interest in a game that needed so much attention to keep it playable.

Fantastic Game
As a history buff I find this game an absolute blast to play! It is fascinating to take history in to your own hands and find out what might have happened if say England decided that Africa should be its primary target, or if France actually conquered Britain.
The game does a great deal to stay historically accurate (as much as you really can in a game I would think).
This game also has immense replayability, especially when combined with the later expansions (Napoleon's Ambition and In Nomine) and so I think is easily worth the price of admission.

Not Quite Enough
All in all this is an interesting entertaining game. I played for 12 hours and pretty much had it conquered. Wish there were more difficult levels. The graphics are great and the music isn't too distracting. Not sorry I bought it.

May have trouble with 10.5.x
The system requirements of this game doesn't let you know that it's only verified up through 10.4.8, but on the MumboJumbo website they are quite clear that it's only up through 10.4.8. It works for me on a Power PC running 10.4.11, but it doesn't quit properly on an Intel running 10.5.5. I have to force shutdown my system. Others have had some luck on 10.5.x, so just be aware that there might be a problem.

This game is a LOT of fun!
I just downloaded the demo of this, and purchased after about 10 minutes of playing! This game is very well produced and presented, with cute characters, amusing sound effects - and most of all it is loads of FUN to play! It's very similar to the "I am an airport traffic controller" games popular in Japan, although a little simpler - for example in this game (at least as far as I've played it which is only the first few levels) you don't have to worry about aircraft ground collisions while taxi-ing, although on the other hand this game adds refuelling and repairs to mix it up a little.
Some may say this game is just another "Diner Dash" or "Cake Mania" with a new coat of paint - and maybe it is to some extent, but that's not a bad thing - for me those games are FUN - and this game even more so.
I also think this game would be great for kids too - maybe slightly older kids so they can get the hang of managing all the planes - but what a great tutorial for multitasking it will make!!

Great take on the classic Uno Game
Uno undercover has many new game cards which really enhance gameplay. It has a humorous spy story to go along with it. It is very creative for UNO. The only thing is sometimes it boils down to pure luck as opposed to strategy. Still it is much more enjoyable that playing regular Uno (esp. with additional cards) and the story line is creative in a lighthearted way.

Loved this Game!
A great point and click adventure game that lets you interact with the characters in the book. Fun mini puzzle which you can do when they come up or leave and go back to them. I played the first one too (which was great) but this is even better. You can even leave a book half finished if you are stuck, go to a different book and then back. It really is a lot of fun and I highly recommend it! It has a pretty tough penalty system though.

Decent hidden object game
It has a good story, graphics and music. There are pretty good mini games ever couple of levels. I thought the HIDDEN SWEEPSTAKES made it more interesting. While it tries to combine 2 genres (H/0 & match 3) it hasn't perfected the combination but it is a good idea. There are better H0 games out there and better MATCH 3 out there but it is neat having some of both.

Classic gameplay
I still remember this game landing back in 1997 with a big bang - surprisingly it's still enjoyable in 2008, thanks to fun gameplay and quite vast array of weapons

A classic RPG lover's paradise
Fans of old-school ultima (III-VI) can rejoice with eschalon book I. I played this game for a solid 40 hours to completion, and I loved it. I played it on an older powerbook g4 (633mhz) and it was painfully slow - you'll want something a bit faster than this to really enjoy the gameplay. I hear basilick games is working on eschalon book II; can't wait until that one comes out!

Better Than the Older Version!
I had purchased a jewel quest with my old PC and was excited to try this one out on my Mac. Needless to say, I am very impressed with the quality of the graphics and the sound. The hident objects are more and more difficult to find as the game moves on. I really add enjoy the addition of the gold coins!
