Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Deluxe Edition
 –

Runs pretty well under Lion

The game runs pretty well on my old mbp with Intel Core Dual P8800 2.66Ghz and Geforce 9600mgt. I can get more than 30fps with 1280x800, medium settings under Mac OS X 10.7 Developer Preview 3.

The Three Musketeers Extended Edition
 –

weird, boring, overly complex and overall a waste of time

This game makes no sense. You spend the first 10 minutes of the game finding cities on a hard to read map of France. The directions say "travel from north to south" but before you can do that, you need to find about 10 random cities on the map of france. The directions to play are complex but the game itself is simple to the point of boredom. i don't recommend this game at all.

Recommend only buying the game if you own a high end mac, if you own a laptop dont even bother, I own the newest macbook pro and even with the lowest possible settings the game runs like bad.

i just played a few minutes, enough to see that is a bit boring, you do nothing and the waiter does everything, i was hoping this was like cooking dash but it was not.

Jade Rousseau: The Secret Revelations
 –

No fun

The scenes are not in focus and you cannot adjust the screen size. Hard to see tiny objects, not in focus across the room. Totally agree with Kim and Snooka. The story does not draw you in. Game play is annonying.

Great Game but glitchy

I really enjoyed the game BUT I found that even after downloading several times, I couldn't get a clean game. The picture quality was very sketchy with lots of interference. I only got a clean screen towards the end of the game and then couldn't get it back. I played the game, however, and really enjoyed it. Challenging and creepy story. Bonus content was fun too. Promise of sequel but I hope the technical problems are worked out.

Avalon Legends Solitaire
 –

Relaxing and lonnnnnnnng

The card game is much the same as that in Fairway Solitaire. Sand traps and water hazards are replaced by ice and rock. Golf courses are replaced with areas of Avalon to be saved, Instead of the Pro Shop for new equipment, you go to a Magic Shop for rabbit's feet and Runes.

As for game play, Also similar. Move cards of higher or lower number to the base deck. You can put aces on kings and kings on aces. Each area of Avalon requires you to accomplish some aspect(s) of the game - run of xx cards, score xxxx points, etc.

Avalon has wild cards (they come in very handy), and Magic Cards to collect. Avalon also has locked cards to add to the challenge. There is a story - you must return the magic cards to the Druids - okay, not the high point.

In Avalon you earn points based on play - each level has 10 hands. Each level has certain goals. You do not repeat any hand in the level, but if you do not reach the goals, you must replay all 10 hands again. You earn points that buy a variety of power ups. There is some logic in how you use the points. Getting all the power ups is not necessary, but at least there is a purpose in earning points. There are 13 possible achievements. I earned 12, and believe the one I did not get required a certain very pricey power up.

So, Avalon - it's not too difficult at all, in the beginning. For the first 2/3 of the game I never repeated a level. Then everything changed. Nothing was impossible, but the last level took me as long as the rest of the game put together - at least it seemed that way.

Overall, there's many hours of play time, it is basically relaxing, certainly has replay value, the artwork is pleasant enough. There are no voice overs as in Fairway Solitaire, nor any of that quirky humor, but it's still a decent way to spend some free time.

MIND BLOWING!!

The best game money could buy! I have played right through to the end and have wasted hours doing so! I have had sooo much fun though that I just couldn't stop playing. I loved that you had to keep going from one place to another and back again to compelte the game - made it more fun. The game itself was quite a challenge but thankfully there was always the very helpful Strategy Guide. Very well done to the maker of this game!

Great Game, worth the money!

delightfully challenging, the second to last level was frustrating, seemed like I retried it about 40 times but finally got past it. The last level was not quite as difficult. I loved the game, would like to see more like it. Larry

Kids Game

This game seems pretty clearly targeted at 10-year-olds. The puzzles aren't very difficult for adults, and there are far too many hidden object sequences for my taste. The story is a bit strange too, but kids might find it more appealing.

Stray Souls: Dollhouse

Like the problem that Snooka had, I was wondering if the game is supposed to go to white during the cut scenes or if something is supposed to be going on. I kind of feel like I'm loosing something if there is supposed to actually be a cut scene and not white space. Aside from that the game is beautiful and really creepy. The strategy guide is helpful for when you need it, but I always think I need it and then realize the problem was looking me straight in the eye and in result feel kinda dumb. All in all a great game, hope that I'm just being ocd about the white space.

Jade Rousseau: The Secret Revelations

Useless

I have done 5 mins of this game, and nothing works, it took me 6 clicks of the mouse just to get the light to come on, as Kim above same problem you had to use the hint and it still didnt work and that was enough for me. No buy unless this game is fixed.

Jade Rousseau: The Secret Revelations
 –

Lame Sauce

The main problem is the game doesn't automatically adjust the screen size or resolution for your monitor like most others. I have a pretty big monitor, but even with it I had a hard time seeing all the objects - most of which are set up "across the room".

Secondly, often when you click on one of the objects (or perhaps this is just a by-product of the resolution issue) it won't register and remove it from the list. You end up wasting hints time having it tell you what you already know - and only after which can you click on it.

Back to the Future: The Game
 –

Great Scott!, an awaited game for BTTF fans

The title of this review says it all. If your a big back to the future fan, it is definitely worth the money. To me, it feels like another movie with the scene clips they do and thats why i love it. The voices of each character sound EXACTLY like the actors. Plus, Christopher Lyod voices doc and i nearly flipped out when i realized it was him. Great concept and i'm really glad they did it. and, there are some inside jokes which are hilarious if a bttf fan can pick it up :) the games made you think and were good. and if your not sure about this go on Telltale Games to try the demo. i was hooked!

Nice casual game but...

It's a really nice game. If you like the style, you can have hours of fun. I strongly recommend to test the demo, and check if the game attracts you. Anyway, I find the game a little expensive for the content it offers. There are similar (not as good as this one) free internet flash games that can replace this one.
