The Book of Unwritten Tales Deluxe Edition

Book of Unwritten Tales

Just completed the game and it was so fun! GREAT adventure game, like the real adventure style. NO hidden puzzles! Good story for the most part, pretty funny dialogue but maybe a little too much dialogue. The puzzles were challenging! Not impossible, but logical and it feels great to figure it out. My only cons would be the somewhat excessive dialogue (only in some parts) and a few glitches (eg. an inventory item was saying one thing but showed another). Would buy this game again in a second! I had a great time playing it, cant wait to forget it so I can play it again!

Still one of my favorites

Its been a long time since this came out, and I played it. However I do on occasion return to it to either enjoy a crazy level, or attempt to finish off another OCD round. Basically what I'm saying is, this is one of those rare games that I actually RETURN too multiple times over the years. Really fun, and if you don't have this in your library yet, why not?? =]

The Sims 3 Deluxe Edition
 –

Maybe I don't like it more...

It is the old good game of simulation, get a job, raise kids, date some people.
It's really boring to me these days doing the same thing as going to work, talk to sims and all the stuff we do in The Sims
I got bored really fast, but it might be just me.

Driver San Francisco Deluxe Edition
 –

I LOVE IT

I use to play Driver years ago on Playstation when it first came out. And this is the best one so far! The graphics are stunning, the story is huge and there is so much to to open and enjoy in story mode. People don't seem to like the fact that u cant use a remote control but it really didn't bother me using the keyboard. This game is awesome,if you likr racing games you will love this one. GTA fans might like it as well, the only difference is that u are a DRIVER and thats all you do, DRIVE. You can jump for car to car on the city but never run around shoot etc. The only bad part of the game is the multiplayer, for the most part there doesn't seem to have people online that often. So if you are buying this game, i wouldn't count on having fun online but dont worry the story mode makes up for it!! What are you waiting for its on sale!!

Trine 2
 –

Worth every penny, and more!

I will sum up the below with "its awesome, buy it, it is worth it".

I had given a glowing review for Trine 1. And as how most sequels go, I figured Trine 2 would just be a rehash to ride on the glory of the first. Well I was wrong! Trine 2 is every bit of awesome, plus a lot more.

The graphics and animations really blow me away when I watch them. So much attention to detail while keeping a style and theme going, is incredible work by the creators. The world feels so fluid, and lifelike, not stale and rigid like so many AAA titles hash together.

Audio is wonderful, nice sounds, action, music. The voiceovers are 'eh', but it sets the mood well enough.

The most fun is the puzzling environments and physics integration with solving them. Using three different characters with different abilities, to get the job done (and find secrets along the way!).

All in all, great game. Not intensely difficult, but puzzling enough with varied action and elements.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
 –

As far as Mac games go? Get this now.

I recognize that there are a lot of Call of Duty haters on the internet. Many say that they don't innovate enough between games. That's somewhat true, but their games have enough variety for me to keep getting them. There are currently three Call of Duty games available on Mac, with a fourth scheduled for release later this year. Each one is very different and has kept me going through to the end. This is a top notch first-person shooter for the Mac, and I can't recommend it enough. The multiplayer is great, though difficult, and there are a ton of mods to keep you occupied (I'd strongly recommend the Galactic Warfare mod, as it's as close to a Total Conversion mod as I've found, and adds many maps as well as weapons from the Star Wars universe). I'd say wait for a sale, though, or get the disk, as $40 is a bit much. Many don't follow the story of Call of Duty (few knew it had one), but in Modern Warfare they introduce a story, follow it through, and able to keep you going through the game. I play it on a pretty old MacBook Pro, and it works fine. If you're hesitating, reading reviews, or just haven't gotten around to buying/playing this game yet Just play it. Now.
