This is one of those games made for PC that are lousy when adapted for Mac - many of the original puzzles must have been removed because there are strange gaps in the story and the gameplay. The puzzles don't make a lot of sense and you kind of have to flail around clicking on everything. On the other hand, even though the puzzles aren't logical, there is very little challenge in them because a huge hand or gear icon makes it clear what you have to click on. Unchallenging, not fun, embarrassing "Indian" accents...and if you insist on buying the game, try to get through the Lotus Maze and tell me you don't hate it too.
This is a pain in the rear game. Not much difficulty in thinking a puzzle through (there really is only one way to do it, do or fail, and fail endlessly at times). Rather serious hand-eye coordination with balancing and controlling an unforgiving slosh of liquid in various forms. Some of the levels are so downright frustrating that I don't know who would abuse themselves to bother going for awards or perfect scores.
Its ridiculous difficult, which ruins the fun factor of something that could be ... well ... fun.
Visually its pretty wicked. The physics of liquids and the objects and glass ware is really neat. Too bad its an angry game out to harm your patience.
Leviathan: Warships is a turn-based, strategic action game where players can build and customize their own fleet of warships.

Not a bad game
Good game. long enough to be interesting. puzzles not challenging and on one or two there can be a glitch which means you can't always finish and have to skip but having said that, I have played worse.
As solitaire goes this is good. the characters are strange but the puzzles are good and I like that once completed you can revisit anywhere to improve your score
Intro movie -8/10 Got me excited and made me want to play Rain Animation -6/10 Drawings -7/10 Character Anim. -6/10 Battle control -8/10 Faily good but hard to get the characters where you want them when you want them there.. Only becomes issue when in a 1-1 ratio, evenly balanced fight when control becomes the key factor to winning. I feel they could have made the characters a bit more intelligent, easier to control, and easier to tell what is what on the field.
originality -7/10 Sounds -7/10 A lot of the guns, ships, etc sound the same, needs more variety Length of play 7/10, lots of add ons and other missions, but the main game isnt that long
Buy it on sale, it isnt worth 40 bucks. 30 dollars its a solid game, under 30 you definitley need to buy it, under 20 you are nuts to not give it a try. Thanks for reading.
I loved this game. I found it challenging and a lot of fun! I needed help from a walkthrough to get through some of it when I got stumped, but got a lot of satisfaction from all the tricky parts I figured out on my own. As others have said, be prepared to die a LOT, but that's part of the fun of it! You never know what's around the corner, and it's exciting when you get through a tough section. I'm definitely going to play it again.
XCOM works even in a 2010 MacBook Air! Although the video settings are set to low, it works & looks just fine. There is some stutter to the cut scenes but I can live with that as there is no (so far) stutter / lag in actual game play.
I just tried the demo of this game but it is so annoying that I don't plan to buy it. Some of the mini games are very hard and if you don't get something right the first time a huge YOU FAILED sign pops up, even if some of the things you did were correct. The graphics are not anywhere in the demo as nice as the ones in the ad. And the animation, when there is any, is rudimentary at best. I don't think the game is worth $10.
I played this game years ago on my rather limited PC laptop, but I can see from the promo images that it's the same version. If you enjoy the TV show, which I did at the time, you may get some enjoyment from revelling in its main characters, who are all well represented. The murders are varied enough to be interesting, but the gameplay is too linear to be fully immersive. By the end, I was just trying to finish the game for the sake of it.
That said, I would imagine that it's a good game to play as a couple or a family - not so complicated as to invoke the "too many cooks" syndrome, but decent enough to be entertaining for an evening or two.
