Endless Space - Emperor Edition

Not working

No idea why, but as I start a game, I get a black screen and it hangs there. Another not working games in my collection. Should have seen the ratings for the other games from that company.

Lots of potential, but not sure yet

There's a lot to like here. It's not Diablo but it's not far off the earlier versions. It's buggy, though. I've been able to get around most to the bugs but they're irritating and they hurt what could be a really good game. IMHO this is much better than Torchlight - seems deeper and more fun. BTW, I just started playing so I'll update this review as I play through. One more thing - this game is really cheap ($4.99) - it's clearly worth that already.

The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav

Interminable and ridiculous

Dialogue goes on and on about inane mythology of this realm; puzzles are ludicrous (the Queen's three impossible tasks will prompt you to smash your computer). You get many hours of gameplay, but as the game and the absurd puzzles went on and on I cared less and less about the characters or the mission, especially because as the puzzles became more and more contrived I had less and less confidence that patience and logic would suffice to figure them out. When you have many sites available and an inventory full of objects, and the correct solution requires several crucial steps that are strictly arbitrary ("why does the colour-stone have to be back on the basin to make the path appear??") it becomes frustrating, not enjoyable.

Weird Park 2: Scary Tales

Interesting story line and lots of it!

Had a few problems on occasion opening the game (which interestingly didn't start causing me problems until after I paid for the game), but quitting and restarting fixed that. The game is long, and entertaining.

The Sims 3 Monte Vista

Unfortunate

Everything went well until the installation process. It keeps on quitting unexpectedly at the last minute which is quite upsetting. I've heard this expansion is great, but I guess I'll be missing out on the experience which is unfortunate.

Get Roller Coaster Tycoon Instead!

If the graphics worked fine and IF full screen worked Fine and Just Get Roller Coaster Tycoon Platinum many more options and everything actually works on OS X 10.8.x In the long run you will be much happier and will have saved yourself 15.00 buck by NOT buying Marine Park Empire!

The Walking Dead

A point-and-click adventure with a difference

Another winner form Telltale Games. The Walking Dead is different from other point-and-click as it forces you make hard decisions within a time limit. Choices you made in earlier chapters will affect scenarios and character behaviours in later chapters. The game also has actions scenes that requires some aiming and quick reflexes. But the best thing is about this game is the plot and its very believable characters. Players who enjoy a good storyline should not miss this.

One of the best Hidden Objects games i played it has a beautiful environment tasty sound effects and funny solutions. Please make more of these games with the same quality.

I also have difficulty getting past day 3 and the one time I did I was crushed early on day 4. A skill level setting would make this game more appealing.
