Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Deluxe Edition
 –

Killer adventure

This is my introduction to this game series, and it had me confused at first. Once you get past the introduction scenarios you'll be gradually thrown into the action and story which is quite immerse. Soon as you get virtual training made available, practice the controls a lot. It makes the game so much better when you can control your character well. He sticks like glue when climbing and jumping, both for good and bad since it can make you go in the wrong directions too.

The story and game itself are great, graphics, sounds and effects are amazing, it all makes you come back to do that next thing, and even though the game isn't hard to play through, it's a challenge to do so well as can be done. The game is a mix of larger time linear scenarios and small one-off quests and tasks, where you take back Rome step by step moving by rooftops, killing foes, destroying their centers, recruiting allies and restoring the city. This mix also makes ACB quite varied even though you keep doing the same basic things.

I didn't get all the listed Deluxe content, and when contacting Ubisoft support they politely told me to Google it. So the game gets 4/5 and the support gets 1/5. I bought the game at discount so I'm still ok with it. While writing this review I'm downloading AC2 to find out what happened before this adventure.

Disappointed at the "cheat" level

Purchased the game. Disappointing level of "self advantage" the CPU gives itself on the hard setting... sometime three 7-letter words in one game for itself. Always has the "S" when it needs to make these... serves itself the "Z" and "X" almost every game... also does not contain works including two-letters published in the official version like "JO" and "ZO"? Does not allow you to store custom words, or it appears that there is no way to load a newer dictionary.

Graphics good on the MAC and does do just that - pass the time with an old "less than predictable" favourite... should be cheaper than $10 as the board game is purchased for that from many vendors. I have many versions of scrabble, and for the few issues here, still one of the better ones

Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars Director's Cut

Broken Sword

I really slow game. not very logical and you have to go back and forth a ton of times in order to get the item you need. Using items is a pain too

Actually the only reason I give a second star is because it took me a long time to finish and the game was on sale

Dark Arcana: The Carnival Collector's Edition

Fun without too much effort

Fun game. Have to move back and forth to get all the clues and items to solve the mystery. Interesting story line. Would like to see more along this line.

Mystery Case Files: Shadow Lake

Great game but...

I have enjoyed playing the game. Lot of back and forth with interesting puzzles. But it continues to crash part way through. Tried reloading a number of times without success. Would like to be able to play to completion.

Airport Madness: Time Machine
 –

Great Game but not quite ready

Great game and great theme. Only a couple of glitches keep it from being super. First, the Traffic Rate selection knob on the main menu is defaulted to "5" and so is every level regardless of what value is selected. Secondly, the "Expedite off Runway" command is inconsistent. Sometimes it works and other times not. Otherwise, this is a great idea and game!

Awesome!

I've played over 100 hours of Borderlands 2, and I still can't get enough of it. I recommend this game to anyone who likes a mix between FPS and RPG.

Coloropus
 –

Hard to control is the least of its problems.

The character is hard to control. WIth no instructions, just 'cute' animations, the player is left floundering (pun acknowledged) for direction: is this screen important to me now? No? How about the next screen? What's this thing? Am I supposed to eat the fish? Why am I getting devil horns? Often the hint areas will be of the coloropus shrugging - funny, I was doing the same thing. I found it nearly impossible to grab items, and twice as hard to manipulate them. I thought Coloropus looked interesting enough to forego my usual 'not without a demo' requirement for a new game. I was wrong.

Agree with Previous Review

A previous reviewer mentioned achieving a certain level and then not being able to continue! Well, it's true lol! A good game, good graphics, very similar to FATE, but then you die over and over again. Frustrating! But a good time waster up to that point.

Excellent

Again I am surprised that they have managed to produce a forth game that holds to the excellent standards of the previous three and then goes a step further.

Another Brilliant Game

This is their 3rd game and it was even better than the other two. Will be replaying this game again and again.
