Back to the Future: The Game
 –

A must have for BTTF fans

I was quite surprised by Marty's voice, it almost made me think M.J.Fox himself dubbed it.

The game play is actually frustrating but so far the story is good, there is no reason not to buy it if you are BTTF fan!

Metro: Last Light
 –

Do not miss this game if your Mac can handle it

Summary:
Metro is a dark, graphically very good and perfectly ported game. It tells its story with just enough cutscenes to allow for some rest between (or during) each chapter.
The only two "not as good as the rest of the game" things are the level design (linearity) and, sometime, the animations and AI of the NPCs.

The good points:
- From a technical point of view, it's one of the best port I've seen: The graphics are great and the game performs perfectly, even at max settings. Although I've played it on a computer well above the minimum specifications, the game should be playable with good quality on many recent Macs with a dedicated GPU.
- There's a story, with some surprises and a lot of cutscenes. They can be skipped for a more "action packed" and less "story driven" gaming experience (Although I don't see any reason to skip them).
- The graphic style is dark and fits perfectly with the game's post-apocalyptic world.
- The soundtrack is very good. In game-sound is also very good and seems to be exploiting the optical output (for true 5.1 sound).
- Gameplay (Keyboard + mouse) is good, although Aim-assist is enabled by default (It can be disabled).
- There's enough content to justify the price even with only one playthrough. Above that, the game can be played more than once... I will just because there's more than one ending!
- My XBox 360 controller (USB) was recognised by the game. The drawback is that it can't be disabled in-game and must be unplugged. As I dislike playing FPS with a pad it remains untested.

The "Not as good" points:
- NPCs sometime have strange reactions and less than perfect animations.
- The levels are a bit linear.

The bad:
Hmmm... let's see...

Conclusion: Excellent port of an excellent game. If you like a good FPS from time to time and have some money to spend, buy Metro.

Borderlands 2: Season Pass
 –

A must have for those who seek items

Some items from these extra contents (such as fire hawk) help you a lot, a must have for who can't get enough with vanilla Borderlands2.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Ultimate Edition
 –

A great sci-fi sneaking game.

If you loved Metal Gear Solid1 or The Matrix, this game is for you.
I was totally overwhelmed by the atmosphere, the combat system is not designed well but not a big deal.

BioShock Infinite
 –

Over hyped, yet one of the best games in 2013

I must admit this game got over hyped, but still enjoyed it.

What I didn't like about is that this game is much easier and has less environment than predecessors, kind of calk walking some amusement park.

Yet, this game still has a good atmosphere and story telling, you will never regret buying.

Borderlands 2: Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2
 –

Allright this game became too tedious...

If you already felt this game had gotten too hard and tedious at UVHM1, you should avoid this.

Every number is inflated and this is just pain to play, you won't have a chance unless your character has some of the best guns in the game with certain build, sniping and melee are as good as dead.

Jewel Quest Mysteries 2: Trail of the Midnight Heart
 –

Buggy

This game locks up, if you press the pause button or click on an unknown mystery object in one of the find objects screens, you get a blank screen and you have to pull the plug to restart the computer. waste of money with this bug
.
BTW the imac is the current latest top of the range.

Governor of Poker 2
 –

Stress free Poker

This poker game is graphicaly the most fun you will ever find. You make your way through tourneys that are more and more important and difficult as you go from one city to an other, steping up the difficulty a tinny notch at a time. At the end, you end up being a better player. No real money is involved, but you definately feel the pressure to win since you don't wnat to miss the chance to leave with a new wagon, or win the rights to a coal mine, that will allow you to own steady revenue. Awsome game.

LIMBO
 –

A little short on playtime

This game is absolutely fabulous. As a reviewer already said, it's art. Progression is steady, puzzles are maybe a bit to easy, but it's better than staying stuck at the same place for too long...

It is a very short playtime game (3 hours...maybe not even that long?) but the price is right.

It is to be seen more as an interactive story than a challenging game.

BIT.TRIP Presents... Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien
 –

Like watching sunday morning cartoons

Fun, funny and....funky! The music is just great...I'll sometimes play just to hear that stuff.

A usless but interesting aspect of the game is all the weird statistics, such as total air time, total slide time, total jumps made, total distance ran....

Just simple, playful, run and jump....

Falcon 4.0: Allied Force

I really have to get a good Joystick. I do have the Seitek X52, but I don't know how to work it, and thruster doesn't seem to work on Mac. Nice simulation, I recommend it.

Game Dev Tycoon
 –

4.5 Stars

Pros:

Crazy Fun, LOTS of things to research, LOTS of ways to upgrade your person and crew. I love the realistic knockoff of real life systems.

Cons: I beat the game in 6hrs, you cant customize your office, the game stops making new systems after 35yrs.

Overall: 4.5 stars. The 35years will end before you get everything researched. However, they did a great job in letting you play on after words and continue to build your own research lab and build your own gaming system.
