Simple. Elegant. Beautiful.

I found this game to be one of those "easy to pick up, difficut to master." Everything is simple to understand, the world is presented with crisp colors and style, the interface is simple, and the units are not complicated pieces with a myriad of selectable skills. In a word, I think this game is elegant.

It satisfies the RTS player in me, but also works when I'm not in the mood for something complicated and twitchy.

Pleasant Suprise

I really have enjoyed this game. I was not expecting much but have been really immersed into the storyline. Plays off the forgotten memory angle nicely. Graphics are alright but the game play is fun. Nothing super complex yet not to simple either. Look forward to seeing what is to come from Basillick.

Dissapointment

This game could have had so much more potential, in my opinion. I liked the opening to the game a lot and thought the storybook-like style was charming, however the gameplay and mind-numbing repetition led to its downfall.

The only reason I gave this two stars was because of its potential and opening cinematic.

I understand that Tricky Software was going for the "retro game" style. However, for a 3D game, only being able to go forwards and backwards is almost painful when so many different possibilities are available.

By looking at the screenshots, I thought this would be nice game to play with decent graphics (which aren't even an issue here considering the sloppy gameplay), however it was not even a shadow of what my expectations were.

not worth the money. not worth the time.

My Tribe
 –

a bit slow

Why do they have to make the building process very slow but other than that it is a games that will make the time very fast.

Somewhat boring

My Tribe has alot of replay value and tons of things to do. but it is a game that you only spend 5 minutes a day on, not very exciting.

Good, simple fun

Allright, so the graphics aren't that great. But if you are getting this game for the graphics, you are getting it for the wrong reason. The thing that makes this game so good is the core gameplay. It is just fun to play a round of minigolf, especially if you have friends over.

I highly recommend this game, it is clean, simple fun, and it is a great time-waster.

Nanny Mania
 –

Laundry Threadmill

This game is all about the laundry machine. Keep that thing running nonstop and you get the fastest possible times. Clean up other things while the machine is busy and postpone cleaning up repeating messes until the end. That's all the strategy there is. Incidentally, that means some "perfect time" targets are impossible to achieve because you cannot speed up the laundry cycle.

It's funny looking, but low-res and the (first) nanny appears the be cross-eyes in the art. The stereotypical mess the family makes is fun to see, but overall this game get boring real fast. I guess playing the demo for five minutes shows all gameplay it offers: it's a threadmill.

One of the Best INLAY Games!

Mosaic has a good story line considering it is an inlay game. There are rewards at the end of each level and a mystery which you do not usually find in these games. There are also fold outs which expand as well as the usual dropping shape which adds a whole new way of playing. You must think and use them wisely. There are also many power ups. It is probably the best INLAY game I have played!

Doesn't appeal

I checked out the demo. Trying to change the resolution always resulted in a crash so I was stuck with the defaults. It's 3D but your avatar moves like a 2D sprite: it doesn't turn smoothly but instantly changes orientation. The animation is stiff, Diablo is way smoother than this.

Simply bad

Tried the demo. The whole thing looks like it's designed by a child. That doesn't mean it appeals to children, it means that it's amateurish an not appealing at all. Same goes for the interface and gameplay. Load times are awfully long too, I have no clue why. At least they had the decency to price it low, but I wouldn't even play it for free.

RocketBowl

Too expensive

It's a nifty idea. The mouse-based interface isn't as elegant as it could be though. The game is also visually lacking, it looks very empty and bland. The fake commcial billboards would only add something if they were really smart and funny, but they aren't. Overall it feels lackluster, for that reason alone I wouldn't price it higher than $5.
