Beauty everywhere

Despite it can be played in just a few hours, the beauty of this game makes it a real MUST-HAVE for adventure genre fans.

Surprisingly Amazing & Addicting

I was cautious to get this game because my Mid 2010 Macbook had lower specs than the minimum requirements. So I got the game on sale because it still looked interesting. To my surprise, the game runs perfectly with my lower specs, and I haven't noticed any lag or performance issues.

The game itself started out easy enough and I thought, if this is how the rest of the game will go, I'll be finished it in no time. Again, I was surprised! The missions got progressively harder and more complex with each mission I completed. You can even customize your team members with different weapons. There are tons of maps/missions to keep you busy for a long time. And the replay value is about as high as you can get.

Though it's on it's 8th Alpha, I think the game is complete as is.

I can't recommend this game enough. It will last you many hours even once you finish it.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

Meh.

You can't help but feel like the story line is a little cliched and over-wrought. Better titles out there for GTA enthusiasts.

Blades of Time Limited Edition

Pretty mayhem

'Blades of times' packs a sexy heroine with lots of action and puzzles. The controls are a little weird at first but once you customize and get used to them there's a lot of exploring, fighting and gun play around the corner, the story unfolds pleasantly and the different landscapes are very beautiful to watch. Also, the innovative time travel feature which basically allows you to replay at the same moment that your double(s) are doing the original action(s) to kill difficult hordes of ennemies or solve more complex puzzle that require you to be in multiple places at the same time. Sounds confusing? Time travel always is, but despite it's complications it's definetly recommended for casual adventure gaming!

Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller - Episode 4: The Cain Killer

Final Cognition episode

To me episode 1 was good and promising, then 2 was much better and more involving, where 3 changed the pace with more depth and longer playtime. Coming to the final chapter of this series I had high hopes for a great finale.

The Cain Killer starts out so and so, then it picks up with some new twists to the gameplay again, although finally leaving logic behind for dramatic effects and plot turns. The story and characters stop making sense and you find yourself switching between long dialogues and click-click puzzles.

From what the previous three episodes had built up to, I think more could've been done to make the story come together to an end, so for me this one is 3 stars.

Pleasantly Surprised

This is one of the best games that I've encountered in a really long time, and I'm difficult to please when it comes to strategy games. There are endless possibilities in this game, but the greatest thing about it, you can play however you like. Whether you want to build your dynasty through marriage, deceit, war, etc., it's up to you! Make sure you download all the dlc, as that makes the game truly impeccable.

Democracy 3

It's okay

Mildly disappointed in this game. Not really that much replay value, and the game has a glitch; in that, you constantly get assassinated by extreme groups with little you can do to prevent it. Definitely a liberal slant to the politics, so if you're conservative, you better get moderate quick!!!

Go for CK2

Very good game, but Crusader Kings 2 provides a much more extensive gameplay value of this time period with pretty much the same operating system requirements.

CreaVures
 –

Beautiful

Absolutely beautiful game, possibly my favourite platformer just because of the graphics. The "creavures" are adorable, and the unique abilities given to each one (and needing to strategize by figuring out which combination will best be able to get you through the next section) make for an interesting puzzle element, but isn't too difficult to figure out. Not bad on the replay value - you need to "collect" all the creavures before you're able to go back and gather all the motes/essence in each game. Not something I can play for hours on end, but it's a nice time-killer that I can play for ten or fifteen minutes at a time.

Very good but sometimes a little easy

Loved playing the game but occasionally it was a little to easy to work out exactly what was needed. Graphics are well done and story flow was quite acceptable as it didn't tend to jump all over the place like some of these games I have played in the past. Overall the game is a bit short but if you are into these types of games (as I am) you will still very much enjoy it.
