LEGO Batman
 –

Lovely Game

LEGO games are funny, easy to get in to and never too challenging. This particular LEGO game has a lot of charm. For a game packed with super heroes and nasty villains, it is surprisingly lighthearted and non-violent. The Batman in this game reminds me of Adam West in the 1960s TV series, rather than Christian Bale in the Dark Knight movies. The amusingly campy feel works really well in this game. My kid slightly prefers this colorful game above its somewhat darker themed sequel (Batman 2 DC Super Heroes). It certainly is a very funny game and is irresistibly charming when played together. Recommended!

Falcon 4.0: Allied Force (discontinued)
 –

Hard to Recommend: It's Great!

This is a special game. It is an updated version of Falcon 4.0 that originally came out in 1998, when I was still playing Falcon 3.0 from 1991. Falcon 4.0 Allied Force is one of those simulation games that actually seriously tries to emulate the 'real thing'. Therefore, it is absolutely impossible to play this game without reading the manual first. The fact that its manual is a few hundred pages and comes with additional reference guides and maps must be a warning to all people who may mistake this game for a more casual game. I suppose this game is great, really great, but I am still (re)learning basic maneuvers and haven't actually succeeded in playing a single mission. I recommend this game wholeheartedly to everyone who likes the fun challenge to master a F16, as good as it gets for everyone lacking the actual skills of fighter jet pilot. Good luck! You will need it, and lots of practice. ;-)

PixelJunk Monsters
 –

Nice game to relax after work

PixelJunk Monsters is in principle just another tower defense game. The towers can only be built at special sites (the trees), which makes every level kind of a puzzle; in particular, if there are only few trees. The difficulty of the levels is well adjusted, not too simple to just walk through, yet not too hard to get frustrated. The comic graphics are quite nice, and sound and music fit well to the graphics. In conclusion, the game is nothing which will keep you playing the whole weekend, but due to its well adjusted difficulty and its comic style, it is a great way to relax after a long workday.

RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Platinum

It's okay

It's okay, but they need to release Rollercoaster 2 for Mac, this game is not as entertaining at all.

Just wow!

This is easily one of my favorite games ever. It's one of the best looking games I've played, I love the universe they've created, and it's just so satisfying to complete.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
 –

A truly amazing game

I think it's the best game in the series. I mean, I really love Vice City, but this game perfected a lot of the flaws in the gameplay and graphics. I recommend playing Vice City first, otherwise it may seem bad after playing San Andreas.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

Just beautiful

It may have some flaws in graphics and gameplay, but it really makes up for that with everything else. I love every part of the city, and the radio stations are just amazing.

All most AWESOME!

This program I thought was absolutely fantastic. I would have given it 5 stars if the game continued on longer. I have played many games of this type so it only took me 9 hours to finish it but it would have been better if it had many more levels. Have fun I did.

Broken Sword 5 - the Serpent's Curse

Another brilliant episode!

These Broken Sword games are a winner and this one is no exception! Ending fell a wee bit flat - especially the goat bit, which wasn't funny - just seemed a strange way to end it. Otherwise brilliant as usual.

Heroes of Might & Magic V
 –

Love this game!

I've been hooked on Heroes of Might and Magic sense the year 2000. I was glad to see it come to the Mac. It works great on my Mid 2012 MacBook Pro with Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 MB. I'm also running the newest version of Mavericks. OSX 10.9.2 I wish they would add the expansion packs :(

It's ok

This was a decent game. It's fun but to me, it gets old fast. It's a fun game if you're looking to kill some time.

Mystery Trackers: Four Aces Collector's Edition
 –

A fun, dark mystery...

Has a few scary elements that pop out and say "Boo!" lots of cutscenes and a fairly large world to explore. Was a good way to spend a day off.
