fun light hearted game

nice light theme yet many challenges along the way. I enjoyed it very much. As light as the theme is some of the challenges were quite hard. A ton of fun

Fun Game

This game had a great sense of humour and plenty to do! Yes it is a H/O game but they shake up the formula quite a bit. Besides looking for h/o you interrogate suspects and even do a little breaking and entering. About halfway through the game you receive a device to help you move and look under couches etc. I thoroughly enjoyed this game, finding it light hearted and fun but with enough challenge. I def. recommend it.

good representation, needs a few tweaks

Nice representation of the board game. I would like to see a few upgrades though

- token animations get old after awhile, let user turn them off
- represent the actual amount of money and denominations when money changes hands
-remember more about my player besides the name. Remember my token, and statistics.
-computer players are suckers for trading railroads.

Fun while it lasted

The game was too short but graphics is excellent like the past two games. I had no problem playing the game like the other player said. I do recommend for you to buy especially if you want to know what happens.

I hope there would be more to come...- you will know what I mean.

Too Short

The game has excellent graphics and is really fun. It is WAY too short, though. It's ashame that it doesn't last longer than it does.

Stinks!

One level. Plays like a demo. The controls are clumsy. Definitely not worth paying for.

Waste of time

The music was sporadic, and the graphics were terrible. A good idea very poorly executed.

Worthy successor

This game is a worthwhile follow up to the previous two Dream Chronicle games - again it is beautiful to look at, has interesting puzzles, not too difficult, but like many other games of this type, it is too short. Enjoyable though.

Enjoyable, but serious glitches

Like the others in the series, this game is enjoyable with lovely graphics and interesting puzzles, but unfortunately it has a couple of huge glitches that require completely starting over. (I googled and I am not alone in having these problems, others have suffered them too).

The first is about a third of the way through when a "strange symbol" needed to open a staircase may just vanish from your inventory, or may not appear there. There is no way to retrieve it: you have to restart. However on my second run through, this part did work properly.

The second glitch is at the end with the final potion: the book in the kitchen goes glitchy and you can't do the potion puzzle, or read the potion. At this stage I can't be bothered to restart again to see if I can get it to work.

A good game if it was 9.95, or if you get it as the 2+1 deal, but I wouldn't recommend it otherwise. The glitches just ruin the sense of story and of achievement.

One word - Frustration

The story line and graphics are great. The amount of time to complete puzzles is not. After getting to the first. I am totally stuck. I just can't finish. Just not enought time. Maybe I'm just slow. But I think it's frustrating. I do these for the sheer enjoyment. Not to be aggravated. They really need to give alittle. I hope I can finish the story. I have tried getting though this one screen repeatedly for a week. Help!! Wonder if I will ever finish. Oh well. If you love a real challenge. This game is definitely for you.

Fun Game!

I enjoy point and click adventure games, and this one is a great one! If you enjoy Myst, or similar games, you will enjoy this. The puzzles are great: Not incredibly challenging, but definitely requires you to think. The graphics are beautiful, and the interface is generally intuitive. The only drawback I would say is that it is a tad pricey. Other than that, very fun, challenging game!

Not quite there

I couldn't bring myself to finish the demo of this game let alone buy it. There's something not quite right about it. You can see that it's supposed to work like another Cake Mania or something along those lines but it definitely falls short for me.

Dream Chronicles: The Chosen Child

Similar to the other ones

As all Dream chronicles it has great graphics and explains a little more of the story this time. ie the dream. It has interesting puzzles and when you replay things are in a different area. This version has a NEXUS which is a series of gateways you can travel trough once you unlock them. YOu often have to go back and forth. I found the hint system often lacking and the game on the short side. You know they are setting you up for a 4th version. But if you enjoyed the first 2, you will love this as well.
