World War 2: Time of Wrath
 –

Not really bad, just frustrating

This is a great game that is a struggle to play. If Mac gamers long for an MS-DOS game, this is it. The naval orders are so poorly structured that it is a chore; that limits replayability in a WWII game, as Allies are heavily dependent on naval. The crash has not been a problem for me, but for some reason you have to enter the game code every time it launches, and it won't cut and paste from other programs. This could have been another great Panzer General type of game, but it isn't.
This is my first review, and just wanted to vent a bit out of the frustration of this game experience.

Elythril: The Elf Treasure
 –

Cheapish

The graphics are cheap looking and the whole game feels old. The music is terrible. It's the same thing over and over. Monotonous. Boring. Definitely not worth the price.

Harvest: Massive Encounter

It might be a great game...

If it would only stop freezing my computer. I have not managed to play more than 15 minutes without that "you must restart your computer" message; generally I don't make it past five.

I really enjoyed this game in every area. Only the second last game was a bit of an obstacle don't play when you are tired. everything else was perfect. Can't we have more similar ones from the same developer?

Really fantastic game.

Well done, high polish, clever puzzles, well-done learning curve and challenge curve. If you like platformers, or puzzlers, or lode runner or other classic games, you'll like this. Definitely try it out.

Great Game

This is a great game if you are looking for an easy adventure. The puzzles aren't too hard, and you can skip them if you want to. The hints are very helpful. The only bad thing is that the game is too short and the "mystery" is easily guessed. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous. 'Empress' has some hidden object scenes, but is not overwhelmed by them like a lot of other games are.

Echoes of the Past: Royal House of Stone

Fun Game

This is one of the better games I have played. Great story line, not too simple or too hard to play.

Public Enemies: Bonnie & Clyde
 –

Pretty graphics but maps aggravated me

This is the first puzzle game I've bought. I was drawn to the gorgeous graphics and the Bonnie & Clyde theme was intriguing. Unfortunately, the game was not. And the repeated use of maps as a puzzle device aggravated me no end. That is, except for the interactive one where you have to retrace B & C's escape with the police on their tail. Heck, for $10 I got my money's worth. And my nephews can give it a go at Christmas.

Totally Lame Motocross

This game doesn't promise much, and it doesn't deliver much.

I've seen better free flash games. Thought it might be a fun way to kill time, and yah, it kinda is; but no bike upgrades, one level it seems the only way to win is by crashing out... that's right, you don't actually have to be on your bike to win. As long as your limp body is propelled across the line it counts.

Total waste of money, go play a flash game of the same sort and it'll have more options and be free.

Secrets of the Dragon Wheel

Waiting for the Next Installment

I liked this game as it had all the elements of hidden object plus good puzzles and a good story. The hints are helpful and plentiful if you need them. Only real complaint was that it was very talky-especially when you needed to refer to the scroll and the description of the page you need is repeated and repeated. I liked the story and there is a promise of more to come. The graphics were stunning. I'm going to play the game again just to get a new look at the fabulous train on which the actions takes place. Well worth the price-a bargain and fun.

Drawn: The Painted Tower
 –

very pretty little game

The artwork is gorgeous. The puzzles are quirky and creative, but there's still enough logic behind them that you can get through without hints if you really put your mind to it. I liked the storyline, and the music's very nice too.

Nice part is you got a relatively satisfying ending, and yet you just know it's wide open for the sequel (which I hope is released shortly!).

I wouldn't say this game is replayable, but I got a good 6 hours or so of enjoyment working my way through the puzzles. I didn't pay full pop because it was part of a bundle, though.

Dream Chronicles: The Book of Air Collector's Edition

Wish it was longer

Finished too fast in this game but can't wait for the next installment. The graphics are amazing and the story line is good. The only problem I had was that when there is a picture puzzle, it's all black. It was frustrating playing the puzzle.
