Love this game ! I can play this for hours. Better than most games costing a lot more.

Got me so interested in the history of the war that I even bought some books about the battles.

I love all these Civil war games. Can play this for hours ( shame on me ).

More intriguing than games costing a lot more. I like the three stages of difficulty.

Was never a Civil War fan but am now. The game appears to be historically accurate.

Well worth the price !

Little game with replayability but a few annoying factors

Agree with the previous reviewer, the character's speech bubbles are right in the way when you're trying to get stuff done quickly and there's no way to click to get rid of them. So they linger on the screen long after you've read them and are trying to see what you're doing. Very annoying. Also worth noting is the fact that there is a further level which is locked and you presume as you play the game it will unlock like all the others. It doesn't. At the the end of the game it just says, locked, coming soon. Assuming this may or may not be released. Not bad for the money though, keeps you interested.

Brought Back Memmories

Well all I can say is I first played this game on my PC back in 1986(?) if I remember correctly. However, it doesn't seem to want to run on my iMac very well. It seems to hang up and I have to exit the program. Have a list of commands would be helpful as well. I did figure out that the different screens are function keys. I'm thinking after I have more time playing with it it might be okay. I bought for the memory, but not sure it's worth the money at this point.

Might & Magic X - Legacy Deluxe Edition

Here's hoping for another game like this

One of the few games I've ever played through 3x. In this case, I wanted to play all 12 race/class combos. Each game was very enjoyable, as the "prestige class" advancement and quests were almost always worthwhile (except the Runepriest, oddly enough, whose signature special ability I never used).

I really enjoyed the turn-based combat; the lore of the game; the art assets from previous games as well as painted art for this game; the variety of foes; the quests galore; all the optional things to do; boss fights; and the leveled relics especially. I really hope this team learns from a few mistakes (graphic optimization and lag on the open map sometimes) and puts out another game like this. Ideally in the same world.

Once I ran this in 32-bit mode like recommended, I had no major issues at all. Restart-type bugs were extremely rare.

I would like to like this

The graphic style is nice, and the peppering of humour throughout the dialogue is certainly entertaining. There is, however, one fatal flaw that prevents me from enjoying this game: it's buggy.

I'm getting a bit sick of downloading games that crash and quit, and this one does so at several points, thoroughly ruining the adventure.

Daedalic Entertainment, I hope you read this. Your game needs more work - I paid forty bucks for this 'trash', and I expected something more than a beta.

Un vieux jeu mais très plaisant

Le jeu est bien bâti et on s'amuse plusieurs heures! Le fait qu'il soit un vieux jeu bénéficie du fait qu'il n'y a aucun bug et ne prend pas beaucoup de place sur le disque dur pour un vieux portable comme le mien!! Si vous ne choisissez pas un jeu pour ses graphiques, je vous le conseille donc fortement.
