Major bugs

I bought this because I had loved the originals, way back when.

The game as redone by Anuman not only made the original crisp visuals muddy, but it also saves at set spots, rather than when the player wants. Worse yet, if for ANY reason you leave the game interphase, when you come back the following have happened: 1) the last few actions have been undone, EVEN if the game indicated a save and 2) the tools that would allow you to repeat the actions have vanished from both your inventory and their original locations. This means you have to start the game from the beginning.

In other words, the game is unplayable unless it's played essentially in one go, which is impossible because of its length. I can only hope that Anuman issues a patch or updated version.

Seen much better

Not a bad game, but could really need more work.

Music is just a short loop over and over.

Ball dynamics need work. Balls take way too long to stop.

Snookers rules are not right at all. Game cannot deal correctly with fault. No points awarded to opponent for faults.

Overal, not bad. Need more work.

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Deluxe Edition
 –

Absolutely amazing!

What I can say, I totally loved it!

This was my first Assassin's Creed game and now I'm a huge fan of the series. Graphics are incredible, plot and person are interesting and I just love how game touches the history.

Many say that Brotherhood isn't as good as AC2, but I disagree. I liked this more, so much that I used to collect all treasure and things after the game itself.

Offline-mode without Ubisoft account is also good to have.

Assassin's Creed 2 Deluxe Edition

Pretty good, but

I bought this inspired bu the Brotherhood and I expected so much from it. Unfortunately, I was disappointed a little.

First of all, the game didn't work at OS X Yosemite before some update from Ubisoft. The resolution was out of screen before that update, so there was no way to get to options to change it. Finally update came and I could start playing it, after 4 weeks of purchase!

The game itself in okay, pretty good. But I didn't like the idea you have to use Ubisoft account to be able to play it. The game launcher is horrible, compared to Brotherhood. Enviroment is nice and places and citys/towns wonderfull. However, I didn't like idea that you have to ride with horse to another town. Distances can be quite long - takes too much game time!

The plot is a little different from the Brotherhood, but pretty interesting. Nice to see same loveable characters in AC2 and Brotherhood. Controls are worser in this than Brotherhood, guess only in Mac-versions. But still playable.

Basically, better than a average game with lacks in couple of things. If you like Assasin's Creed, I'm sure you find this enjoyable too.

The Darkness II
 –

Pictures lie!

Bought this in a bundle from a couple of bucks. Didn't expected much from it, but more than it gave.

You play with somekind of mutant with tentacles and kill enemies with dual-wind guns, throwing objects and by striking them. Your are monster, people try to blow your head off.

Didn't really get the plot. The game felt so stupid when I played it so I had to quit. Confusing and strange describe well this game.

Pictures lie. Great graphics wont save the game from its simplementation.

Too short for the money

It was a fun game and not too hard to find everything. But it was too short for the money. I expected to be able to play longer.

Revisit your childhood

This game is awesome, I remember playing it and others from the series as a kid.

I have got my own child playing now as it brings back fun memories of playing with my brothers and is full of learning and fun.

Haunted Legends: The Curse of Vox Collector's Edition
 –

Disappointingly short

Firstly, I have to say, the game itself is great, the graphics are beautiful, the story thoroughly engaging, the puzzles can be at times frustratingly hard but you can always skip if you don't seem to get anywhere. HO scenes are well rendered so you're never having to guess what an object is. But it is very short and the bonus content (mini games which are a repeat of the puzzles in-game and HO scene) doesn't really make up for that. Not interested in wallpapers/music etc so overall I have to say I don't think it's worth the price. I was lured in by playing the demo but expected the game to last longer than 2 hours. HO games for me don't really have replayability so its a bit expensive for a one-off. Would have given it 4 or 5 stars if it had lasted longer.
