Client-side OS X App Developers


Game Store, LLC is looking to hire a mac osx applications developer to work with the team devoted to building and enhancing the macgamestore app.

Base knowledge requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of recent Mac OS X or iOS programming experience using Xcode 2.x through 4.x
• Minimum 3 years of Objective-C programming experience
• Minimum 2 years C++ programming experience
• Strong knowledge of the Cocoa or Cocoa Touch APIs
• Experience with Cocoa and/or POSIX threading APIs and a good understanding of thread safety
• Good GUI design and development skills and a good understanding of MVC design
• Excellent debugging skills
• Good technical writing skills
• Skilled in working in a revision control environment
• Experience with Web Kit a big plus
• Experience with Client/Server programming (JSON, SOAP, XML RPC) a big plus
• Experience with Daemon programming a plus
• Experience with Unit Testing a plus
• Familiarly with Carbon APIs a plus

Extra knowledge for DRM developer positions:

• All of the above
• Strong experience developing in-house tools
• Experience working with encryption protocols
• Experience working with low-level Mach-O systems
• SDK and Frameworks development experience a plus
• Experience with Digital Rights Management systems a big plus
