Voluntary Account Deletion (right to erasure)

For Member Accounts & Personally Identifying Data

As an account holder on this website, you have control over your personally identifying data. We allow you the option to a Right to erasure ('right to be forgotten'), or also known as Deletion. Please read this document carefully because it will cover your access to and claim on Personal Content (defined below) and set forth the legally binding terms for your request.

Personally Identifying Data that will be removed:
All personally identifying data on your account will be removed and/or anonymized. This includes the following points of data which you may have supplied during your interactions with the website and services:

Your full name
Your email address
Any given Display Name
Billing addresses
Shipping addresses
Card account number, expire and name on card
PayPal account ids and email
Globally Unique Device Identifiers

Data that will NOT be removed:
Any data we deem as not personally identifying, will not be removed from the system. However this data will be LOST TO YOU. These points of data may include but are not limited too:

Purchases (products and amounts)
Gifts sent
Country Codes
Rating stars
Written reviews
Comments
Generalized log data
Generic system/browser details

No Access after Deletion:
Once a deletion request has been received, confirmed, and approved, you will no longer have access to your account on this website. Your username (email) and password will no longer be valid to use to sign in. You may however in the future, Sign Up again using the same email (because that email was removed during deletion). But know that doing such will not re-associate your deleted account to any new account created. You will lose access to the following:

Purchases
License keys/codes
Wallet balance
Reward points
Written reviews/comments

IP Addresses:
Since IP addresses are not globally unique to any one person, and can be used by many different people at different times, IP's will not be removed from the system unless they are directly tied to the account. However IP's in logs, and otherwise used for analytics, will remain for the length of time they are used and then subsequently purged on their own.

3rd Party Systems:
The comments system we utilized was by Disqus. We never gave them your email address, however you will need to handle any comment deletion through them directly: "How to delete a comment: hover your cursor over the comment you want to delete > click the actions dropdown > click Delete. To delete a comment appearing in your profile, click 'View in discussion', then delete it from the discussion as described above."

Other 3rd party systems used in the normal processing of purchase orders may have collected and retained data. If those 3rd party services do not supply a programmatic way to remove data from their systems, then we will not be able to remove that data from those systems.

GRACE PERIODS: Any account that has recent orders made (within 90 days for PayPal, 90 days for Credit Cards), will not be deleted. Any accounts that had just been created, need to wait a grace period of 30 days before being deleted. Requests for deletion will have to be made again AFTER the grace period.

ACCOUNTS UNDER INVESTIGATION: Any account that is currently under investigation for fraud, suspicious activities, or other legal reasons will NOT be open to deletion until the investigation has been concluded.

LOCKED ACCOUNTS: Any account that was locked due to fraudulent or illegal activity will not be subject to deletion.

CONTACT US FOR DELETION: To have your account and personally identifiable data erased from the website, please contact our Store Support for written consent to deletion. This is to prevent abuse or possible irreversible mistakes.

The Support Staff will ask you for confirmation to your Account Email on file. If you do not reply to that confirmation challenge, then no action will be taken. You must prove you are the legitimate owner of the account, to have that account data deleted.

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT, BY SUBMITTING A DELETION REQUEST, YOU ARE INDICATING THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND AND AGREE TO THE CONDITIONS OF SUCH ACTION. ONCE ACTED UPON BY THE STAFF, IT CANNOT BE UNDONE, AS THERE WILL BE NO RETENTION OF THAT DATA TO RESTORE SUCH DATA.
