As a Guardian you need to complete tasks to save lives. Friendly puzzles, nice characters.

One of my favorite expanisions for several reasons:
Usefullness- unlike Mare Nostrum or Conquest of Paradise which are region specific or padded with features people rarely use, Mandate of Heaven provides features that are helpful to all nations. Edicts are great since you can pay gold for great trade, manpower or religion bonuses in your states. Ages are a nice side feature and gives you objectives as a nation.

For those who like to play in Europe (Central Europe especially) this is a must have DLC, which really fleshes out the region. Plus there is an achievement to colonize australia as austria. I think I do not have to say anything else.

This game is so much better than Age of Wonders 4 and it is more complex, more complete and has more unique factions than even Age of Wonders 3. Highly recommended!

This DLC is well worth the price if you enjoy playing outside of Europe as it does much to enhance SE Asia gameplay through new religious mechanics.

Espionage within HOI4. It helps add more granularity to the information system, but is not wholly without its flaws. By no means essential to your typical gameplay, it is a worthy edition.

The utility I receive is limited because I don't tend to play megacorps - Not because it doesn't look fun, but because I'm always lured by something else

I like megastructures - really this feels seamless with the base game, but that might be because I've had it for so long
