  1. Great ending!
    by hcs5490, USA - Mar 25th 2014

I tend to enjoy the creepy Nancy Drew games a bit more, so of course one about a ghost will be right up my alley. The story in this one was intriguing and kept me very intereseted, and the characters had some depth to them, too. I really didn't know who did it until the very end. The ending, though, was the really special part of this particular Nancy Drew game. Usually, you just go through the motions as Nancy, solving puzzles until there's a cut scene and you find out who dunnit and try to catch them within another puzzle. The ending the the Ghost of Thornton Hall was quite customizable. I won't give away details, but you get to control Nancy's decisions on what to do. As I recall, the game has 2-3 possible endings, which is a new thing for these games. This game is up there in my favorite Nancy Drew titles.

  3. Excellent
    by NorthernSpruce, Canada - Jun 23rd 2013

Like most of the Nancy Drew games, this one is very well made and lots of fun. The story is complicated but clever, the scenes and puzzles carefully done and challenging, and you have a choice of difficulty levels. The game is not super-long - maybe 4-5 hours - and has little replay value, which are its main defects, but I really enjoyed it (one reason it was over so quickly - I played it for several hours at a stretch!).
