Description

300 Dwarves is a classic tower defense game, featuring beautiful, hand-drawn graphics and animations and a rich, captivating storyline. It's an epic tale of a dwarven mercenary band seizing the opportunity to increase the content of their pouches.

The adventure begins when the green horde arrives in the peaceful Kingdom of Men. After decades of peace, the King's army after wasn't trained or prepared for the unexpected attack. The king and his few remaining forces were pushed back to the royal palace and villages located in the vicinity. Something had to be done quickly. Then the king remembered the battle songs that tell of the dwarven commanders great achievements during war. A messenger was sent to the dwarven lands, to ask for help from their most famous mercenaries, whose courage and bravery ... you could buy for gold. The messenger returned, but he wasn't alone – 300 of the greatest, strongest and best trained dwarven brawlers came with him.

As dwarven commander, you can access five basic tower types (which you can improve through gold gained during levels) and three special powers, the use of which may be the key to victory. Plus, at the end of each level, you get treasures (from one to three, depending on your commanding skills), so you can purchase additional upgrades for each tower type or each special power. And there is a plenty to choose from!

The battle knows no bounds, and soon you’ll be fighting in locations beyond the kingdom: the village, forgotten dwarven mine or even a desert land... you will face off against many enemy types, from the smallest goblin to tough orcs to—well, you’ll have to see for yourself. There are plenty of enemies to deal with, and believe me, they are more than challenging!

The game offers an engaging and challenging, user-friendly gaming experience combined with attractive visual sensations. A unique, hand-drawn style gives the game an unparalleled character.

  1. Solid tower defense
    by daisyborat, USA - Dec 14th 2014

I paid 2.50 on this game on sale and its worth it.

Played the entire game (70-85) minutes worth and had no crahses, glitches, freezes, etc.

Its very cartoony and aimed more towards children. But if you like tower defense and enjoy the challenge then i would say this game is good to go. I beat it in just under 90 minutes earning 3 gold per level. You could add about another 20-40 minutes of play if you wanted to not allow any enemies into yoru base. on a few levels i had 1-3 get by, but you still get the 3 gold, (max) so i wasnt worried.

It is usually priced around 5 dollars, but on sale for 2.50 is a killer deal and 5 bucks isnt bad, i wouldy pay more than 5 for it personally.

  3. Amusing Tower Defense Lacks Replayability
by Jonathan Aiello, USA - Apr 8th 2013

This is an amusing little tower defense game. The interface seems to be more suited to the iPad than to the Mac, but it is playable nonetheless. The main drawback is that the game is short and lacks re-playability. I feel like I've done everything I can with the game after only 1 day.
