Sparkle 2 EVO
Subtle, captivating, addictive. These three words describe the world of Sparkle - world in which you make a tiny aquatic creature evolve into becoming a grown, magnificent being.

We give you control over your Sparkle's development and wellbeing, and you have one goal - to evolve. Whilst exploring the Sparkle Void, you find various nutritious elements to eat. Sometimes you will even have to fight for food with other species. You become what you eat - you get to choose whether your sparkle becomes a fast and aggressive carnivore, a sluggish but fast-eating herbivore, or an omnivore, whose features lie somewhere in between.

Insight to your Sparkle's DNA strand will give you information about the progress and will help you plan which microelements you want to focus on eating next.

You will also get to fight giant bosses from time to time. But there’s no rush to keep the game in full swing at all times.

You may as well just relax, play the game on a slow pace, explore the sparkle void, consume nutritional elements, enjoy simple and surreal surrounding and listen to the ambient music soundtrack. The choice is all yours.
  • Three different ways to evolve. Become a fast and agressive carnivore, a sluggish but fast eating herbivore, or an omnivore whose features lie somewhere in between.
  • Play through 13 dreamlike looking levels.

  1. Eh... needs optimizing
    by Frigidman™, USA - Jul 1st 2013

Interesting game, could be more enjoyable if it didn't crawl in spurts on my Mac. It goes along real smooth, then just starts going so slow and choppy. Bad optimizations. If you can look beyond that, then this game will be enough of a delight.

  2. Poorly done controls make this game a bust
    by Bowser, - Sep 24th 2012

This looks like the kind of game I would enjoy; good graphics, lighting, and even nice music. It started out that way and I didn't have a problem although the startup screen was a bit weird. However everything changed when I started playing.

The instructions for how to play began and I started by using the WSAD controls because thats what I like to use normally. But these controls were just horrible. I went in opposite directions and couldn't tell where I was going. So I tried using the mouse and it went a bit better but It still wasn't satisfactory. The only good thing about this game is the graphics. Demo before you buy and you will understand.

  3. Game Controls Do Not Work
by Christi Clogston, USA - Sep 8th 2012

I'm using OS 10.7.4 and I couldn't get game controls to work for this game. Neither keyboard or mouse controls worked.

It's also very hard to know how to start the game. I tried clicking on various parts of the Intro Screen and only managed to quite the game. Regardless of trying to fix the game controls, the lack of an intuitive place to even start the game was an odd experience.
