Before dying, the explorer Emile Valembois tells you about the most amazing expedition of his career. This expedition was dedicated to the crazy "white bird" mystery. He confides to the young journalist that you are, the odd mission of returning to Amerzone in order to bring back an egg that was robbed 50 years earlier…

Legend has it that strange white birds are born and die in mid-flight, without ever landing. To bring this species back to life, you'll travel through enchanting landscapes, from Brittany to tropical forest. You'll have to solve the mystery of these famous white birds...

You are suddenly transformed from journalist to explorer setting out for the Amerzone, chasing down any clues that Alexandre Valembois left you in his lighthouse.

  1. An enjoyable field trip
by Lisa in New Jersey, USA - Nov 27th 2013

This story takes you on an interesting trip into nature. The game makers created lots of strange animals — and that keeps the game interesting. It's a good way to pass the time.

  2. Really disappointing
    by NorthernSpruce, Canada - Oct 14th 2012

Some of the scenes are pretty enough, but as another reviewer pointed out, this game feels like a half-hearted highlight reel from a much larger game. There are several places where you can walk into a room without much detail and without any interactions possible - no entertainment or puzzle-solving value. When I played, a bug prevented me from collecting vital documents as I encountered them; yet, as annoying as this was, it didn't actually hinder me from finishing the game because there are so few objects to find and interact with. All I had to do was randomly apply objects to places where it was clear that an action was possible. Dull and insipid.

  3. Oversimplified adaptation
    by Charles Davis1, Australia - Feb 28th 2012

It is obvious that the original version was much tougher than this Mac version with its pointers to anything of game interest and its skipping over some of the actions originally needed. Still worth it for the atmosphere and the detailed graphics.
