Planet Pandora is a sparsely populated wasteland where the rule of law gets rewritten daily in the smoke of the last gun battle. Civilization consists of small outposts on the fringe of human influence, in an area called the Borderlands. Pandora's one tourist attraction is a mythical Vault supposedly packed with fantastic riches.
Fortune hunters, corrupt corporate mercenaries and lowlife hoodlums roam the landscape, searching under every grain of sand for the treasure. Since most intelligent life on Pandora has the occupation of Vault Hunter, society has gone to hell - making the outposts and outback areas more than just a little dangerous.

High Expectations

I wish i hadn't gone in to this game with such high expectations, for one with the graphics dumbed down a bit the game runs smooth on my mid 09 2.53ghz 9400m mbp, second I expected this to be an open world game, but everything is split into areas, third the weapons and vehicles are awesome but there really isn't much interaction with npcs other than the ones you have to kill. I found this game to be more frustrating than fun, Some of the maps you have to traverse just to fight a boss is ridiculous, than when you kill the boss you have to run all the way back through waves of npcs you just killed to the start of the map, this is the same with quests and looting. I also hate the fact that you have to switch weapons every couple of missions to find whats better, every time I found a gun that I liked there was always something a little better. trust me, looting was fun for a while than you start to realize how tedious it really is.

Good Job 2K

As usual, 2K made a phenomenal game. It's hard to find those popular console games, or even the popular PC games playable for Mac. This is definitely one of the better ones (Although I wish it was on steam...). BUT to those who complain about using a Magic Mouse...... obviously you shouldn't use that for any videogame, because it's not meant for videogames, its meant for media purposes, like every mac is, mice cost 10 dollars at target. Boom. Just blew your mind. Buy this game! 2K is a great company and this is an amazing game, especially to play with friends!
