The Wolf Among Us (Telltale Key)

The wolf among us

This game is absolutely addictive and a lot of fun. I played it more than once and had the same exprience each time because the story changes with diferent decisions made. The characters are witty and the twists and turns keep you going futher into the lives of the Fables...enjoy!:)

Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth
 –

Okay spacey version of Civilization V

Better graphics than Alpha Centauri (1995?) but not a lot of change in game play. You can fight with the aliens on your new world, or with other colonists, or both. It really needs the Rising Tides expansion to make it worthwhile..

My biggest gripe is that whatever world you settle on, the alien biosphere is identical. Life out there should show some diversity. Instead, we have worlds of monsters and one world of humans. Maybe we aren''t the chosen folk?

Ghost Encounters: Deadwood - Collector's Edition
 –

A game .. anarchist

This game has a good story, sadly lacking a map and this is most confusing. The hidden object scenes are beautiful, as are the mini-games. Translations into Italian are very bad ... We need very perceptive! Try it if it is sold at a discount.

Absolute Solitaire & Patience

Absollute solitare & patience

The game is not user friendly. I finished a game of freecell and then could not get back into the game I finally just shut down the computer.

Vacation Adventures: Park Ranger 4
 –

Great replay value

This is a trully hidden object game with high replay value. If you are playing for the third time you may want to activate the hard mode, that will increase hint recharge time and mini-games skipping time.

Overall a great collection with a nice atmosphere, emerged in Nature and leisure park ambience.

The Sims 4 Get Together
 –

Love and Hate

I love Sims 4 - marvelous game with complexities that were missing in 3. Unfortunately, it requires Origins to run and Origins won't run or allow the game to load. That is as of an upgrade patch about 6 weeks ago.

So Sims 4 is awesome if it would run. Origins sucks and won't let the game run!

Update: Got an Origins upgrade followed by a Sims 4 upgrade. Mods still seem to bug the game, but it is running again! And I am a happy camper for now!

The Sims 3 World Adventures Expansion Pack
 –

Great Expansion

I think this is probably the best expansion for Sims 3. Nice vacations, new adventures and people. Potential vacation homes. And, of course, mummies!

The Sims 3 Fast Lane Stuff
 –

Fast cars and more

The run of the mill Sims autos are boring. This adds hot sports and luxury cars as well as vintage vehicles. I love the old pickup truck! Of course, I drive one in RL!

Sid Meier's Civilization V: The Complete Edition
 –

One. More. Turn.

The Civ V Complete Edition is absolutely worth it. The base game is fun, but the complete edition has added so many things, like religion, more civs and more scenarios.
Absolutely recommended!

Cathy's Crafts Collector's Edition
 –

1 star off because..

Loved this game...very similar to the emily delicious series but a nice change with different characters and storyline...would highly recommend. My only gripe is what exactly does the Collector's Edition entail...as far as I can tell nothing? You can have a different profile to play the game with a different character's picture as the profile pic but that's about it. No extra content and as there was no standard edition released that I can tell I can't compare.

No joy without a joy stick

I don't have a joy stick so I had to use the arrows. Trying to manuver Canny was very tricky, I could not get past the level o get the gear, It was impossible to double jump up the stone stairs and keep changing Canny's direction to proceed to the next stone before the stone collapsed. Many games offer a skip or make the challenge easier after so many tries, not this one. I will not purchase any other games by this developer.

Endless Legend Classic Pack
 –

Classy 4x

Amazing style and depth. This game is large in scope and very replayable if you're looking to try out various factions and win-states. Excellent design and cohesion throughout the game.

Blackguards 2
 –

Not Optimized

It's an enjoyable strategy game, but good lord it barely functions on my powerful Mac. The story, the characters, the setting is enjoyably dark but it's hard to reccomend in its current state when although the system requirements are met by my rig it still chugs to an unplayable halt.
If it functioned it would be a fun game, but as stands it's just too shaky to reccomend.

The Darkness II
 –

Not Quite the Original But Still Fun

I loved the atmosphere of the original The Darkness and this one largely dispenses with the realism and grit for a cell-shaded almost cartoony look, likewise changing out some of the more brutal combat animations. But it's still an exciting and psychological thrillride with a lot of variety in foes and how to dispense of them. I especially liked that the level structure is very unpredictable. One minute you're battling mobsters in the city, the next you're hobnobbing with your own crime family in a luxury manor. The collectables in this game are great too: each coming with an excellent story read to you by the breathless, panicky narrator. Reccomended for fans of shooters, gothic stories, and gangster lore.

Kerbal Space Program
 –

Make Your Own Space Fun

An in-depth, "make your own fun", space science game. There is a very deep, rewarding game here if you have the patience to blunder through the early stages of figuring out the many systems at work. Huge in-game tutorial and reference text can get you going, but would seem like any long term play will come from curiosity and a desire to tinker.

Total War™: ROME II: Emperor Edition
 –

Good for an audience...

If you're looking for a pure, somewhat complicated tactics game, then I'd say you've found your gem. For me personally, I found the game to have far too many little nooks and cranies, making the game more of a mathematical chore than a fun experience. Once again, if you want a PURE TACTICS, MANAGEMENT, AND CALCULATIVE GAME, this is for you. If not, keep looking.
