Great straight-forward FPS

Great game. Story lines are fairly simple but the action is heart-pounding and generally fairly challenging.

They did a great job making the tired zombie/wasteland trope entertaining.

BioShock

Favorite game of all time???

BioShock, and it's two sequels, are not video games as games but video games as art.

Immersive, unique world. Powers/abilities that flow logically with the story line. Deep, thoughtful character development that touches on questions of human morality and society without feeling corny.

Oh yeah, also, you can freeze a guy into an ice block and then break him apart with a crow bar, or fry him with your tazer hand and then shotgun his face.

Basically Bioshock 1,2,3 are each on my top 5 games ever...
