Mystery mixed with Hidden Objects
I quite liked this game (better than American Pickers which is in a very similar 'hidden object' style) although I've never watched the Castle TV show because I presumed it was a bit 'me-too' with all the crime shows on TV these days.
This game is fairly well thought out, provides plenty of opportunities to find hidden items and entices you with an expert level and many different types of puzzles throughout. I like the fact I could skip puzzles as I am not personally that great at certain types of puzzles (but can whiz through others). This allowed the 'fun' element to be kept throughout without getting frustrated over a single puzzle.
On the cons side - the finding of objects didn't always correlate to the actual game - you often have to find a whole list of items to find of which 1 would actually be useful - seemed a bit of a waste of time in that respect.
It would have also been good to see the answers to skipped puzzles - I would have liked to know how it is done to simply expand my knowledge.
Like most games these days it was fairly short (maybe a day or so of on/off play) but not so short that you felt ripped off.
Overall if you like crime related games, lots of puzzles to work out, hidden objects that aren't particularly onerous but suprise you with a bit of complexity every now and again; and some fun for a day or two (or challenge yourself further on expert levels) then this is a good game to buy.
