Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
 –

One of the best Star Wars games

First playthrough, chose to go full canon with a extremely light side, male character who always lies to give people money. (Other than, y'know, save scumming the races...)
Then flipped and played a female, painfully dark side, who would murder anyone who even thought about tripping in front of her. Ended up killing half my companions, only taking along HK-47 (killer droid with an attitude) and Ordo (Mandalorian merc) so I wouldn't have to listen to the whining of the Jedi. (Generally did that for the Light Side play through as well, so...) In the end, I had almost no friends left, but hey, I was evil for the laughs.

Really, any way you choose to play, the game is great fun for any Star Wars fan. Lots of replay value, multiple story paths to take, stuff to find. No major bugs that I can recall, and the voice acting is superb.

Five of five for sheer awesomeness.

The Sims 3
 –

Good game, bit buggy

I love the Sims 3. As an intro to the series, it's not bad. The instructions seem a bit clearer than they were in either the original Sims or the Sims 2. However, I've had to back up, uninstall, and reinstall on at least two separate occasions when my computer decided that the Sims 3 game files no longer existed (despite them still being in the correct location, completely intact.) That was incredibly annoying.

However, as far as gameplay goes, the story-creation is nearly unrivalled. I've played so many crazy games of the Sims, (and watched crazier), that Sims must be terrified whenever I start playing them. How many odd family relationships can I create? Many. There was once a Sim who had an aunt - who was also her sister. Creeepy.

Four of five for lag and bugs, but hilarity in storytelling.
