The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition
 –

Great game, minor flaws.

The Witcher 2 is a great game. Having it played once before via BootCamp, I was very happy when I saw it pop up in the Mac Game Store, and even more so to buy at 80% off today. Well done, MGC!

The story follows once again Geralt the witcher, while he finds his way in a plot full of intrigue, mischief and conflicts. CDProject Red really delivers on pretty much every aspect of the game, from the combat system to the general gameplay, from story and character development to freedom of choice and choices importance later on during the story. A dreamboat for every RPG-fan out there.

The only minor flaw I found is the already-mentioned 'sound-disappearing' issue. After a couple of minutes in, during the opening cinematic, my sound disappeared completely and the only way to restore it was to plug in my earphones and restart the game. But, as I said, it is a minor flaw, as I usually play with earphones anyway.

Along with its predecessor, The Witcher 2 is one of the great games of the last few years, one of the few with a lasting impact on gamers' memories, a very high longevity and a great value for money.

A winner, without doubts. Buy and be happy with it!
