Flights of Fancy: Two Doves

Best HO played yet!

I have played a LOT of HO games and this stands out from the crowd. A nice long game of six neat chapters, puzzles hard but not too hard and HOs nice to solve without too many of them spoiling the plot. At first, I thought, another fairy/kingdom in danger story - and it is but this concentrates on the right things and doesn't get over dramatic or silly. One I will play again and it doesn't need a collector edition extra chapter to make it a good buy!

Stranded Dreamscapes: The Prisoner Collector's Edition
 –

Love the bear!

This is a good story. If I must offer critisisms then, the issue with the professor is not resolved which would have been nice and while the first two parts are long and enjoyable, the third part is somewhat rushed to complete the game.

Sable Maze: Norwich Caves
 –

Try it

As HO games go this is a reasonable game, some puzzles require thought, some are easy and the HOs are different with the items releasing the next one until you get the item you are taking from the HO. Good twist.

Riddles of Fate: Wild Hunt Collector's Edition
 –

Great and original story

Well, I have played many weird HO games but this one I really enjoyed. The puzzles were good and the story was interesting. Only small grumble was no map.

Surface: The Pantheon Collector's Edition
 –

Brilliant

This is a great game. I love the surprises and the fact that you can't just do the HO out of sequence because you use items from the inventory to complete them! Also. the fact that the game actually ENDS the story, not leaves you hanging till the sequel come out...

Mystery Castle: The Mirror's Secret
 –

Good but..

Ok. So the game is good even if a bit repetitive, sort out each ghost, get a piece of mirror etc but still worth a try except for the glitchyness. The animated cursor worked sometimes only and the game had issues from time to time especially during the HOs. Animation ok but the villain didn't scare me...

Annoying

I really tried with this series but they annoy me as if they were written for the pre teen group. Felt no challenge to them

Nightfall Mysteries - Asylum Conspiracy
 –

Laggy

This game I tried because I played the sequel (wrong order) which was perhaps my mistake as this game was laggy in movement and the graphics are irritating, especially the figures.

Nightfall Mysteries: Black Heart Collector's Edition
 –

Good

If I have one moan about this game is the map. it does nothing, is not easy to understand and does not help you jump from place to place so you have long tedious walks back to do something... otherwise good

Midnight Mysteries: Haunted Houdini Collector's Edition
 –

Messes with fact but good game

Like all these games the puzzles are good as long as you don't look too deeply into the story, you will enjoy it...

Legends of the East: The Cobra's Eye
 –

Good game

I am playing this for the second time and still enjoying it, which is for me a good sign. Only fault is the end battle I had to skip as it doesn't explain clearly how to complete it.
