  1. Sim game with limited world

I bought this game years ago, shortly after purchasing my first computer and downloading Mac Games Arcade (as it was known then). The 1-hour trial was enough to leave me wanting more as I found the accrual-based (money, experience points, etc.) game play soothing. Unfortunately, the world of the game is very limited; although I enjoyed frittering away a little more time that first evening, this is not a game that I have revisited.

  2. Fun & Interesting

One of my favorite types of games. It's very challenging. Cute storyline. I just wish it would allow gameplay to be a bit longer.

  3. good idea, good beginning, then yawnsville

My life story is a great idea - using time-based strategy to build up your character after graduating from high school. The graphics are cute, the music is tolerable, and the gameplay fairly slick.

Trouble is, about halfway through the game my character had enough money so that there was nothing left to struggle about, except gaining enough experience to finish the game. That was maybe 2 hours of fun, challenging stuff, followed by 2 hours of random mouse clicking and "is it over yet?"

Is it worth it to buy a game that's a good idea and half good? I feel a little cheated, but not a lot.
